There is so much in the way of negative doomsday prophecy, especially in the last 15 to 20 years. I submit a logical appeal to those who care to listen. What if these "end times" are nothing more than the death of the old and the birth of the new? It is clear to see that throughout our history as a species there have been more ups and downs than can be counted on any persons fingers or toes. Perhaps in this day and age with so much historical context available at our fingertips. It is time to look at the patterns of the past and realize that the end is never merely the end, but rather the beginning. A new age is dawning and we are are the authors of this new age. What will we do with our knowledge? Will we aim for the stars or will we repeat the age old tragedy that has plagued us for so long. Einstein was clear about insanity, humanity has repeated the same societal model over and over and gotten the same result each time. What will our generation choose? Will we succumb to ideologies of hate and dogma spread by those in various left-right paradigm movements? Or will we rise up and decide once and for all that tolerance, respect and understanding of each other is what will guide our species into a new age of real liberty and freedom. Will we continue to be a society or will we finally be mature enough to create a real civilization.
