1st time out in a while, I have been a tad unwell due to Lyme, poss the worst shooting in ages but my excuse is that I am feeling very very sore and weak. Good or bad it's still a laugh and fun.
These are two easy build lighter short bows that function well.
Not too dramatic but it blew a hole in the board and smashed through the ply. I shot with normal arrow no where near same destructive penetration - watch this space, with what I have learnt over the past couple of days, I can now build very explosive war heads from nuts and bolts + compressive explosives. They will be cheap to make and go off as soon as the head comes into contact with a hard surface, via a simple trigger system built into the arrow, triggered by the deacceleration of the shaft. The resulting explosion reacts with both the head and the shaft forcing the head forward and stopping the shaft, then sending it backwards a little.
