SOPHISTIC LINGCHI is the art of tearing to shreds the nonsense of sophistry. This series will correct the inadequacies of culture reviewers and cults of personality alike, utilizing terse rationality and methodical objective analysis to provide answers to questions nobody asked.

In the wake of the rise of pandering solipsism across the internet, our beholder friend sets out to eviscerate the notion that art is purely subjective. This time, we continue our look at that awkward argument and try to determine if objective reality has a place in the critique of art. Spoiler alert. It does.

If you like the content please share, like, or I dunno, maybe stick around for more. If you want to see something funny or more creative, this channel has a number of different characters to explore, from Lovecraftian Space Cats to Disgruntled Gnomish Snake Oil Salesmen.

Aron Ra is an activist promoting progression of science in education. He creates informative content regarding science and spends time debunking pseudoscience, religiosity, superstition and myth. I chose to cite his talk at ReasonCon 2017 for his critique of solipsism which is quite astute and to the point (at least in a philosophical context). Time Stamp 39:04 for the portion on solipsism.

Space aberration Grendel loves to phase shift into the daily lives of normal earthling entertainers. This time, she becomes a Food Network star, and spices up the kitchen with dark and mysterious horrors from the depths of the cosmos.

Come watch her delve into the production of a cooking show completely devoid of grace and civility, as she tries to make People Meat.
