A video documentary on the Carcarodontosaur of North America: Acrocanthrosaurus. Image for the picture by https://www.deviantart.com/hodarinundu

Not all fossils are body fossils and this video looks into the fossilization mechanisms of fossils such as footprints, skin impressions, and other methods of preserving evidence of life that is often overlooked but important to the understanding of the history of life on earth. I would like to add that calcium in bone is also able to be replaced with silica in fossilization.

A documentary on the newly discovered Hadrosaur of Alabama: Eotrachodon. As always the cover art for this video is by https://www.deviantart.com/hodarinundu and footage for this work was recorded using the Jurassic World Evolution game on the PS4.

A look into the "bird mimics" of Appalachia and a look into another very underappreciated dinosaur. Cover art made by https://www.deviantart.com/hodarinundu

A look into the armored dinosaurs of prehistoric Appalachia and the unique ways that they fossilized. Video cover by https://www.deviantart.com/hodarinundu

A documentary on the hadrosaurid lophoropton: the first dinosaur discovered in Alabama. This is a look into a relatively unknown dinosaur from Appalachia and the unique physiology and evolutionary niche it held in the Late Cretaceous. Cover image made by hodarinundu as a commission by me.
*edited the title because I finally found out I had a typo*

A documentary which starts the series on the underappreciated dinosaurs of Appalachia. Cover image was made by https://www.deviantart.com/hodarinundu commissioned by me.
Appalachiosaurus is a Tyrannosaur discovered in 1982 by Dr. David King of Auburn University. It is the most complete dinosaur of Appalachia so far and deserves more recognition.

This page is dedicated to documentaries on dinosaurs of Appalachia and the unique species and paleontology thereof. With the inclusion of additional Mesozoic animals in Jurassic World Evolution and Jurassic World Evolution 2, I also will cover non-dinosaur Mesozoic reptiles. I deeply appreciate feedback but please keep your feedback focused on the topic at hand.

Feel free to ask me questions on the subjects I discuss, as I will happily answer. I would love comments and feedback from my viewers as well to see how I may improve my content. However, any comments that are insults to me, my work, or the science I discuss I will delete and then block you. I keep my political viewpoints private and am willing to talk with others of different political points of view, but exclusively about the topic of my channel. I have neither the time nor interest in discussing those who call me a conspiracy theorist or those that make personal insults jumping to conclusions about my political stances or my credentials on the topic of dinosaurs, geology, paleontology, or evolution.

I make my content without any financial support out of a desire to entertain and educate others about the amazing ancient lifeforms that roamed our world with a focus on the ancient continent of Appalachia as it is so terribly over-looked.

With great joy, I must also inform everyone that my long-awaited book is finally in print: https://www.amazon.com/Dinosaurs-Appalachia-Alex-McLean/dp/B0CWVGFW7W/ref=sr_1_1?crid=CIVN37OXKP6X&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.dTmEJ6Zm1HhI44Jp7UoPZxURKz-iZ90N3UNLPJh72-3GZG37gTa4DgpXgYhnuJh04QuX8DLX8CSF2xeaC1vLqBApmoi9qdv4LSfD1DYxDDaETtzpZLuPofW153Qb9Y3qq3xXw-gJmqtDy5KpJGDw1w2EEiHZxPCwhJB7HqSlbUioXcvyzz2xesD0Z7exYkW_1-px7MwgwxKREs3DPGEMczfITfYSoC-Thn5YzQ_7Hls.5pnD8Y8ElyESLnDy7hHtrVmGCqgpPW1YWcaD5_QqQPg&dib_tag=se&keywords=The+Dinosaurs+of+Appalachia&qid=1709598911&sprefix=the+dinosaurs+of+appalachi%2Caps%2C143&sr=8-1 I hope that those who have enjoyed my videos will also enjoy my first publication.
