With its understated ambient noise, simple percussion track, and muted but persistent atmospheric effects, “Weekends Are the Enemy” feels like waking up at the edge of the galaxy. The lush harmonies in the song pool and spread across the listener’s internal landscape like the Milky Way itself, dousing everything it touches in nostalgic luminescence unlike any other. The rich vocal stylings both anchor and propel listeners through the dreamy haze of the track. This track unfolds luxuriously, with perfect pace and timing to keep listeners hungry for each beat.

Weekends Are The Enemy – Ambientronic
Single Release – August 25, 2017

2067 AD, the luxury Skyship Solaris banks left on its auto-cruise trajectory around the sun. Beneath the transparent curve of the bio-sustainability sphere, the passengers gather sleepily on-deck. For a few brief moments, the ship holds its position at a critical degree.

Their eyes shielded with patented Neque Lumine™ visors, this year’s passengers are able to gaze into the steadily burning centre of the Yellow Dwarf. Rather than the Earth-ambient sounds that usually flood the sphere, the Captain pipes in an Ambientronic classic, “Weekends Are the Enemy,” to honour the 50th anniversary of the record-shattering chart topper.

With its understated ambient noise, simple percussion track, and muted but persistent atmospheric effects, “Weekends Are the Enemy” feels like waking up at the edge of the galaxy. The third release from their highly-anticipated EP “Tried,” the song pools and spreads across the listener’s internal landscape like the Milky Way itself, dousing everything it touches in nostalgic luminescence unlike any other.

Ambientronic’s most lyrically ambitious release to-date, the track features vocals by Addie. Her voice both anchors and propels listeners through the dreamy haze of the track.

Drawing on their recent experiences in the mystical ether of Bali, Dean and Roman have continued to push the boundaries of their craft. With shared vision and the experience of two lifetimes, they’ve matured into a voice unlike any other. Skilfully manipulating layers of sound, each song is a complex experience begging listeners to visit and revisit.

What originally seems like a simple production, peels away to reveal layers of nuance. If this gorgeous and haunting track is any indication, there is no doubt that the forthcoming album, “Tried,” will launch the innovative Electronic Duo into the endless, concentric waves of musical history.

The year is 2032 AD, Roman floats comfortably in the gravity-free radio studio, as Mr Universewide reads from her magneto-projection teleprompter. “So, now that you’ve been voted ‘Gravitas’ 2032 Soundmaster,’ how about a little sample for the folks listening from their home pods?” They’ve just previewed his forthcoming sound offerings; the last emanations still hang in the air between them. “A little freestyle, then?” Mr Universewide prods, lifting an eyebrow expectantly. Roman nods wordlessly, closes his eyes, takes a deep breath, and settles his hands on the aural luminescent synthesizer. The first waves of ambient sound drift off the keys in a wreath of gorgeous, pale blue.

Somewhere in the pre-birth starscape, the fragmented twin of his soul shivers with recognition. He will be born into 1992 AD Russia with the melody still faintly echoing through the core of his being.

After discovering a way to cheat the coils of time and space, Roman reunited with his twin soul and adopted the name Dean. Present day, the fusion of their unified creative vision has facilitated the production of yet another highly-anticipated EP. In composing “Movie of the Old,” Dean reached across the flimsy barriers of time-space memory and retrieved the glimmering traces of that long-forgotten yet future day.

Pairing the haunting melody with a spoken-word track, and real world ambient noise, the track inspires a quiet sense of nostalgia and longing. Featuring Swedish artist and producer Limerant, the vocals gently shape the soundscape, guiding listeners through the story behind the sound. Starting slowly and building steadily, the light percussion and simple chord progressions gather momentum, culminating in a unique sound that transcends any the dimensions. The atmospheric delivery simultaneously soothes and moves listeners through a complex emotional landscape. The song captures the essence of human life as both bound by time and timeless, with the repetitive refrain encircling the voice of the narrator like the asteroidal rings of the galaxy itself.

As more tracks surface from the ether of their creativity, Ambientronic’s highly-anticipated 3rd album slowly starts to take shape. Each song proves to be as highly ionized as the last. Like atoms converging to form the molten core of the planet itself, these aural landscapes shift and twist, keeping the listener’s attention from start to finish. With their combined eons of experience and talent, the two halves of one soul have challenged the limitations of craft and tradition to create an entirely innovative sound. As energy builds towards the release of their next album, the universe continues to expand, stretching to accommodate this latest sound sensation.

Riding the celestial tides of their recent successes, international electronic duo, Ambientronic (pronunciation: [Am-B-N-Tronic]), have once again shattered the limitations of this physical plane to enchant listeners with a wholly original audio-visual experience. Their remix of Eric Carmen’s 1988 classic “Make Me Lose Control” transcends mere listening, engaging audiences with a hypnotic and masterfully edited visual element.

Despite the song’s title, this remix exemplifies Ambientronic’s precise and skillful control of their art. Their characteristically intricate style, layers a variety of shifting and unpredictable beats over an echoing vocal track. The juxtaposed tempos crash together in a frenetic wave of rhythmic nuance. The lyrics fade in and out, accentuating the track’s energy, which seems to expand and contract like the furthest pulsing edge of the universe.

Originally, this song made a successful debut in 2032. Dean vividly recalls the first time he trotted out this remix in the 5th Annual Battle of the Borgs, a popular competition that will some day soon draw elite mix-masters from the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Feeling nostalgic for bygone days, he originally selected the track for its classic 80s rock composition. Drawing on futuristic elements, the original remix beautifully illustrates time’s circular nature, and the interconnectedness of all temporal and physical spaces. The song was an instant hit, inspiring contest judges to the point of tears!

Following his fateful 2016 reconnection with Roman, Dean saw the opportunity to craft an even more divine musical experience. What was a powerful and captivating track in the future is doubly so in present day! With the added dimensions of Roman’s influence, Ambientronic’s remix of “Lose Control” replicates the solar pulsation of a star’s evolution. Moving beyond the limitations of the physical and into the transcendental, the duo’s remix continues to push the boundaries of Electronic music. They seamlessly integrating driving beats with complex and original chord arrangements. The masterful integration of dissonant sounds and melodic synthesizer inspires visions of distant and chaotic starscapes.

Ambientronic’s remix of the 1988 classic “Lose Control” by Eric Carmen reflects the ever-changing spectrum of light and energy, and the strings that connect us across the vastness of time and space. The adept tempo changes guide listeners through a building surge of pure light energy.

From the first driving percussions of the track, listeners are asked to climb aboard, keep their arms and legs inside the vehicle, and ride wave after wave of sound.

Ambientronic (pronunciation: [Am-B-N-Tronic]) are Dean Jones (from Australia) & Roman Shk (from Russia). Loosely formed in 2014 from a chance encounter online, the duo blended their individual skills and experiences to create a wholly transcendent sound.

Ambientronic supersedes the trite rules of time and space to deliver their innovative sound offerings to the people of this earth. Their futuristic tracks bore their way beneath your skin, and elevate your consciousness to a new level. Though inspired by Severed Heads, Gus Gus and Boards Of Canada, their music is a beat wholly unique unto itself.

Their music is characterised by driving beats, lush, resolving chord arrangements, strong melodic leads and cinematic arrangements of synthesisers, samples and other dissonant sound sources in the general category of Electronic music.

Uncompromising and driven by a relentless passion to deliver the best to those who appreciate them, the signature Ambientronic sound combines pulsing, deep, bassy rhythms with classical melodies and Western style harmonies, with minimalistic and strictly electronic instrumentation.

Ambientronic have released 3 albums, One, Duo & Tried with their 4th album planned for release mid 2019.
