Anyway, the basic storyline is that because of this accidental incident "George" goes on the run, not knowing that the shooting was already judged an accident. It Doesn't help things that Iris (the victim) who survives, has brothers who already disliked city-born George to begin with. Naturally, now the law is looking for George to protect him, while the brothers are seeking him too, but it ain't to protect him.

Synopsis:
William Tell aims an arrow at his son's head, hoping to make a hole through the apple on his head. Various onlookers look on. He successfully gets the arrow through the apple. Unfortunately, this wasn't his first attempt as his son is seen with multiple arrows through his body.

A German hit TV series, the specials have rarely been seen on American television and are generally not available in DVD or VHS compilations. They are available in special compilations of material which are available in DVD.

Most of the Pythons were fluent in German and handled their lines brilliantly during the first German episode. A notable exception was Terry Jones who performed most of his material phonetically.

I posted this because it's another entry in a few regular posts on my FB page, which I call "the Civil War in TV" or "Reenacting in Film & TV". Mainly because, it's almost always some absurd or "Farby" kind of Low Budget idea of The War Between the States, let alone Civil War Reenacting. This is a great movie, and a far more interesting take on H.G. Wells' "The Time Machine" then even the original book was.
This also happens to be the first film credit for a young Corey Feldman who was just 8 years old at the time. Also (Later in the movie) we see a bit part for Patti D'Arbanville (as Jack the Ripper's date) last seen in Real Genius (1985)

Louis Gossett Jr. was just the second Black Man ever to Win an Oscar (after Sidney Poitier) for his role in an "Officer and a Gentleman" and The First African American to Win An Oscar for Best Supporting Actor and an Emmy for the mini-series "Roots".

Corinne Calvet (April 30, 1925 – June 23, 2001), born Corinne Dibos, was a French actress who appeared mostly in American films.
