In November 2012 a Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse was created in Australia.
The Royal Commission was meant to bring about the systemic change that people have been wanting for such a long time. This failed at the judicial and governmental levels.

Many institutions we examined did not have a culture where the best interests of children were the priority. Some leaders did not take responsibility for their institution’s failure to protect children. Some leaders felt their primary responsibility was to protect the institution’s reputation.

The conjunction of events which the Royal Commission has examined can only be described as a national tragedy.
The sexual abuse of children is not just a problem from the past. Child sexual abuse in institutions continues today.

This evil must be drained if, as a country Australia and a civilization, we are to move forward into a galactic existence.
