This is an examination of Catholic teaching and Canon Law which shows that anti-sedevacantist members of the Vatican II church cannot accuse Sedevacantist Catholics of schism without disregarding the teachings of Pope Paul IV, Pope St. Pius X, and Pope Benedict XV. Anyone who accuses Sedevacantists of schism also disregards the teachings of canonists writing with an imprimatur shortly after the promulgation of the 1917 Code of Canon Law. Michael Lofton, Robert Fastiggi, John Salza, Robert Siscoe and others falsely accuse Sedevacantists of schism out of ignorance, negligence, laziness, malice or out of a tendency to slander and libel their enemies. These public character defects are consistent with the violation of Church teaching necessary for them to make such accusations in the first place.
