I mentioned Fat Tapla and her twitter because she hid the fact she'd been wrestling while being a fan artist for years so I'm happy to have her finally featured in the videos. LOVE YOU FATTIE.

I've been lenient on including TALK TOO MUCH moments in the videos considering the empty arenas but the three loud moments to happen in the last two weeks were too good to not use (plus, y'know Bianca saying it on WWE's YouTube meant they had to be included.)

And in fairness, they *did* fucking nail it.

Rey's death & the backstage AEW brawl created a ton of memes/remixes so I couldn't include all of them or it'd kill the novelty. Variety is the spice of etc.

I wouldn't usually feature an EDITOR'S NOTE but I thought it only fair to include Tim Donst's response after Page spent so long burying him.

Tom Campbell's one of my favourite people and I'm glad I was able to get him on the show. Booking your mates is fun, I now understand nepotism. It's fun.

I waited until after Smackdown to see if there would be anything worth putting in Botchamania but right now botches in modern wrestling is like a famous cowboy: slim pickings.

Thanks to everyone for sending me the FF7 Remake table glitch, it's been the best thing I've been tagged in these past few weeks (along with Kim Jong-Un's botched surgery).

The fan cam of the Lou King Sharp vs. Paul Robinson table match was sent over a year ago but I keep things like that for situations like this, where there's no tables or fans or wrestlers.

"how do you know the finish to the Rev Pro match was messed up?"
They told me.

I hope people are enjoying the cameos from Vaguely Famous Wrestling YouTubers reading excerpts from wrestler's books because it's a more reliable source of botches than Raw at the minute so I'm sticking to them. Let me know if you have any suggestions for future readers.

The very end segment with Cedric and his alexander was produced for noq-defunct the Figure 4 Podcast and they sent me the beautiful video to show this isolation is having a positive effect on some people.

I can't believe it took this long to use Hot Top Volcano, one of the best songs from DKR. Or maybe I have, I use an iTune playlist to keep me informed of what songs I've used and not used but it iTunes so it's fucked before. Regardless, it's a great song so I'll live with using it twice.

WCPW Refuse To Lose was fun live, shame about the issues on the stream that made it unwatchable.

Sorry for the delay in the near-regular Botchamania schedule but autumn flu sucks.

TNA Bound For Glory had three matches worth watching but the lights going out will be the thing the event will be most remembered for.

I waited before using that Smackdown Orton thing fucking up to see if they used it or weaved it into their storyline or whatever. They didn’t so fuck ’em. Given that they used live video effects at No Mercy with Orton’s face morphing in the mirror, I’m guessing their Videomatic 2000 crashed when they tried to morph/transition/whatever the two. Convenient it happened to crash during Orton and Wyatt though, the only two they could get away with this fucking up!

I'm sorry this wasn't up yesterday, I'd aimed for it to be up as soon as possible given the lack of distraction but the police decided it would be a good idea to go look for someone to arrest in my block of flats at 3 a.m. but couldn't find the exact address so they just knocked on windows while yelling "hullo" until 5 a.m. which ruined my chances of a good night's sleep. And me without a good night's sleep over-compensates with caffeine which leads to me getting distracted with a forced Evangelion ending rather than focusing on finishing the actual video.

Apart from that, Wrestlemania was obviously low on botches this year due to the whole "we pre-recorded it so we'd be the dumbest company in the world if we didn't edit out the mistakes and spot-calls" so if you have complaints please direct them to Stephanie McMahon.

Wrestlemania 36 will go down as the weirdest WM of all time so Wrestlemania 32 with it's Ryder title win and Saiyans exiting via cereal boxes can finally rest easy. As far as the quality of the show, it all depends on if you're able to ignore the empty crowd and if you enjoy the cinematic bits. I think the wrestlers did what they could with the 'proper' matches all things considered. There wasn't much must-see but it was far from the train-wreck situation I was expecting. But the cinematic matches more than delivered with the Boneyard Match giving us WWE by way of Michael Bay and then Firefly Funhouse giving us it way of Hideaki Anno.

So WWE got all their shows out the way and pre-recorded everything they could and just about managed it (by having the wrestlers there until 5 a.m. apparently) but with the proper shut-downs taking place now, fuck knows what's going to happen now. But rest assured this stupid video series will be there to put Mario Kart music over the top of it.

Notes...

Usually coming up with ten botched matches from one calender year is easy but everyone got better this year. Even Lacey Evans has improved from "terrible" to "average" which is great for wrestling but sucks for me. Hell, I didn't even think Fury's match was *that* bad but maybe I've become so desensitised I need a real deep-fried parmo of a disaster like Undi vs. Goldberg to get my knees knocking.

I asked about the MLW match and if Teddy had any heat with the Lucha Bros. as their match with Jack Evans this year also had a few "fight until it's fixed" moments, but it's more likely that they were annoyed at Hart forgetting every spot because he was high. Alledgedly.

sorry for the delay in this, ended up being harder than I thought to fit all the wrestling, two Cultaholic podcasts and a trip to Dublin for OSW Review. so if mad, blame them

OK not 100% sure Hogan intended to work himself into a shoot but it’s Hogan, fuck it

I enjoyed wrestlemania because i was able to watch it without falling asleep, making it better than last year’s by default

I only did a sampler of the Wrestlemania Weekend Indie shows because there were about sixty of the bastards this year and this video is already over twenty minutes long and that single Blackheart show could have it’s own mini-series

Special mention to GCW for having amazing shows with very little botches considering the crazy stuff they were doing with hundreds of wrestlers (even if they were hiding ilja somewhere)

I waited until Raw & Smackdown to see what WWE would say about the end of the Wrestlemania main event but it turned out their answer was “what end to Wrestlemania main event?”

I didn’t realise how much of a fan I was of Dave Meltzer until people started making up news sources to cite and throw at me on twitter so they can claim anything they want as long as they end it with (source: Joseph Stalin)
