With the release of the new Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, I've decided to do a retrospective playthrough where I play the original Final Fantasy 7 and compare it to Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Rebirth, pointing out things they do differently, what made it into the new games and generally just having fun playing through. I'll be playing through FF7 until we leave Midgar, at which point I will play FF7Remake, then back to FF7 until we get to where FF7 Rebirth ends (I haven't played Rebirth yet), then we'll play through FF7 Rebirth to it's end and finally finish off FF7. If the final remake comes out that will be next.
