Justin L. Barrett is an American experimental psychologist, Founder and President of Blueprint 1543, a nonprofit organization. He formerly was the Director of the Thrive Center for Human Development in Pasadena, California, Thrive Professor of Developmental Science, and Professor of Psychology at Fuller Graduate School of Psychology. He previously was a senior researcher and director of the Centre for Anthropology and Mind at the Institute for Cognitive and Evolutionary Anthropology at the University of Oxford.

Does Jordan Peterson Understand the Meaning of Life?
Well, despite the depth of insight Jordan Peterson provides into the phenomenology of meaning and the subjective concern of meaning *in* life, when it comes to the objective, philosophical concern of whether or not there is meaning *to* life, it’s not so clear that he adequately understands this inquiry, and so provides both intellectually and existentially unsatisfactory answers to it in response.
1) He interprets the question “Is there meaning to life” in a psychologically/pragmatically reductive manner to the point of completely overpassing the philosophical nature of the question, thereby leaving the question inherently unanswerable, and incidentally undermining the existential concerns from which such a question arises.
2) In attempting to answer the question of whether or not there is meaning to life, (A) his pessimistically naturalistic answer fails to adequately satisfy the coherence-seeking/intelligibility element of the question, and (B) his optimistically naturalistic answer is itself question-begging, and so lacks sufficient grounding.

A positive critique of Jordan Peterson
This video explores the proper definition of atheism by surveying the catalog of definitions found in general and technical dictionaries, encyclopedias, and other resources.
Popular atheist YouTubers such as Dave Rubin, Penn Jillette, CosmicSkeptic, Rationality Rules, That Atheist Guy, and others are all (unintentionally) spreading misinformation regarding what the word 'atheism' actually means.
Hopefully, this video will serve to correct some of our false semantic beliefs by not just presenting hearsay and personal opinion, but by presenting a wide variety of authoritative sources to YouTube.
Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter, and Vijaya Gadde, who serves as the global lead for legal, policy, and trust and safety at Twitter, were brought on the Joe Rogan Experience the other day to defend themselves against claims of bias against conservatives and libertarians on Twitter. Tim Pool, an independent journalist, identifies as center-left, and was in conversation with Jack, Joe, and Vijaya defending the claim that Twitter does indeed have a bias when it comes to enforcing their Terms of Service. When it came to the topic of Antifa, the Proud Boys, and Gavin McInnes, Gadde presented a rather poor case in defending Twitter against these claims of bias.
