It's important to recognize Jews are not some hivemind race but a people as complex as any other. I'm no fan of Judaism, much less Rabbi Toviah Singer, however his answer to one caller's question lends well to an example of the aforementioned complexity. Considering Jews only exist if God exists (otherwise they are just some myth-driven mongrelized race of animal like any other), it makes sense to consider Jews and the behavior of them on a whole with various shades in light of the book that details their existence. I suggest looking to the Bible for proper whole answers, however Singer here gives a good explanation by citing from Jewish historical/religious texts (the Old Testament).
