This is footage of the classic rock band Mountain performing "Dreams of Milk and Honey" before a crowd at Bill Graham's Fillmore East on the 27th of June, 1971. Well,... sort of. On this historic closing of the Fillmore East, "Dream Sequence," which can be found on the live side of Mountain's "Flowers of Evil" album was being recorded, but much to the disappointment of Mountain fans everywhere, no film footage was captured along with the audio. This video is the result of syncing the Fillmore East audio recording with actual footage of Mountain performing at the New York Pop Festival which took place the prior year. As I didn't have enough footage from the Pop Festival, I've incorporated a graphic visualization not unlike the light show that was actually displayed during performances at the Fillmore. Enjoy!
