One problem nagged me for a week, and I almost gave up, considered to distrohop from Debbie 4. I searched for a solution online, but didn't find it. Luckily, I found it myself. It was a wrong-fonts-in-a-wrong-directory-solution.

All I had to do is to remove TrueType fonts:

cd /usr/share/fonts/opentype

sudo rm *.ttf

All nice now. The intruder characters are gone.

If you're not a nerd, don't watch this video. Also, if you care about your time on this planet in this life - don't play Paperclips. Seriously.
Also self-replicating probes. What?

I'm stupid. I made this video on January 3, 2020, but I didn't upload it. :) Here it is, reasons why Windows users switch to Linux.

So tired of this "Open up, it's copyright police!" crap. Youtube's copyright practice is too restrictive.

Here's the solution to getting a song out of your head.

No, it is not a new Tomb Raider, but the one from 2013, silly.
After so many years I finally got to play Tomb Raider. Initially I didn't like it, so it was hidden and collecting dust in my Steam library. I guess, it took a switch to Linux to play it.

After two months of using Linux I present some positive and negative sides in Linux. They are mostly very subjective and refer to my experience and view on Linux (and Windows).

TL;DR? :)
I talk about privacy, stability, speed, apps, flexibility, Linux community, driver installation, some games are not accessible on Linux, and it's tough switching to Linux from Windows (you need time and effort).

I switched to Linux a bit more than a month ago, and the experience has been... well, not what I expected to be. I dreaded the possibility of getting back to Windows 10, so did I change back to BSoD? No, I didn't.
I am talking about my acclimatization process in Linux, the alternative apps I had to adopt, gaming and the Linux Mint 19.2 itself. Once again, a big thank you to all of you who welcomed me into the Linux community and gave me tips and advises regarding apps, tweaks etc.

It's been two weeks since I converted to Linux from Windows, and here I am talking about my experience with it, Linux apps, system settings in Mint 19.2, Steam and games.
All this chunter while having a cold and distorted voice. :)

After many years I finally jumped from something I know into something new(ish). So long, Windows - hello again, Linux!

More info to come... maybe.
