2 Jasper Loffelsend D (A right back who could have been a 2021 first round pick. Chose to return to Pitt for his senior year.)
13 Alexander Dexter F (Most versatile player on Pitt. Can play forward, striker, secondary striker, left wing, attacking midfielder, or left back on defense off the bench with his versatility. You could say he's Jay Vinovich's Swiss Army Knife since he has experience as a starter too. Like Loffelsend, he chose to return to Pittsburgh for his senior season.)
24 Jackson Walti M (A midfielder who has improved his minutes in each of his first three seasons at Pitt. He can make things happen on offense. However, I'd argue he's more of a defensive midfielder.)
5 Arturo Ordonez D (The center back on Pittsburgh. He can pass well and is a two-way defender. This Pitt Panther also effective defensively as he's not afraid to put his body on the line to take pressure off the opposing goalie.)

West Virginia

5 Kevin Morris D (A big center back at 6-3 170 lbs. He's a four year starter for the West Virginia Mountaineers and one of their captains last season. Only Mountaineer that stayed at West Virginia without transferring from another school.)
13 Ike Swiger F (A striker on offense that lined up at right winger who led West Virginia with 4 goals last year. He also showed the versatility to defend as well transitioning from right wing to right back. He defended well on a play against Alexander Dexter in this game.)
24 Adam Burchell F (This forward came off the bench. He lined up at left winger showing the skill set of a clutch striker. Transferred to West Virginia this year after three seasons playing Division II at Charleston.)

Texas Tech heads to Iowa State to face quarterback Brock Purdy. Purdy is coming off a victory against ranked Oklahoma last week.

Both of these ACC Coastal squads are undefeated heading into this game. Christian Darrisaw, the left tackle on Virginia Tech #77 may be a top 50 prospect in the 2021 NFL Draft. North Carolina is led by quarterback Sam Howell, the current front runner to be the first overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Sam Ehlinger and Spencer Rattler face off against each other in the Red River Shootout.

Both teams in this game could have first round linebackers. LSU has Jabrill Cox #42 and Missouri has Nick Bolton #32. LSU has JaCoby Stevens #3 at strong safety. Missouri has Tyree Gillespie #9 at strong safety and #18 Joshua Bledsoe at free safety. Stevens and Bledsoe are versatile enough to play either safety spot.
