Imagine you're standing in ancient Egypt, a long time ago, and you're in charge of something very special called a RAM-pump complex. Now, what's a RAM pump? Well, in this case it's like a stone-age water machine that helps move water from one place to another using the power of flowing water itself!

So, every day, as a supervisor of this RAM-pump complex, your job would start early in the morning. You'd wake up with the sun, just like the ancient Egyptians did, and head to the banks of the Nile River, where your RAM-pump complex starts. The Nile River is super important because it's where all the water comes from, and your RAM pumps help make sure that water goes where it needs to go.

Up the hill and around what now is the Sahara desert... it is a fixer upper of a place on earth, for sure.

Your first task of the day would be to check on all the different parts of the RAM pumps. You'd make sure that the big channels bringing water from the river to the pumps are clear and flowing smoothly. Then, you'd go to each RAM pump and make sure they're working properly, kind of like how you check your toys to make sure they're not broken.

Once everything is checked and working, you'd start the RAM pumps up. This is like turning on a big valve that lets the water machine do its thing. As the day goes on, you'd keep an eye on the pumps to make sure they're stil working well. Sometimes, you might need to adjust things or fix any problems that come up, just like how you might fix a toy if it stops working, and then know how to start the machine again, and again and again.

Those who rule Egypt today, do not know how to turn the machines back on.

They simply lack the knowledge.

But it's not all work and no play! During the day, you'd also get to see how the water you're moving helps the crops grow in the fields nearby. The water from the RAM pumps goes to where the farmers need it, helping them grow food for everyone in the community near and far, as the water is provided ..
