Oni is a third-person action video game developed by Bungie West, a division of Bungie. Released in 2001, it was Bungie West's only game. Gameplay consists of third-person shooting with hand-to-hand combat, with a focus on the latter. Originally planned just for the Mac OS and Windows, a PlayStation 2 port was concurrently developed by Rockstar Canada. The game's style was largely inspired by Ghost in the Shell and Akira and shares the same genre, being set in a cyberpunk world.

There are ten different guns in Oni, including handguns, rifles, rocket launchers, and energy weapons. Power-ups such as "hyposprays", which heal damage, and cloaking devices, which render the player invisible, can be found scattered throughout the levels or on corpses. Since the player can carry only one weapon at a time and ammunition is scarce, hand-to-hand combat is the most effective and common means of defeating enemies. The player can punch, kick, and throw enemies; progressing into later levels unlocks stronger moves and combos.

There are multiple classes of enemy, each with its own style of unarmed combat. Each class is subdivided into tiers of increasing strength. As in Bungie's earlier Marathon titles, tiers are color-coded, in this case by green (weakest), blue, and red (strongest). Also color-coded are the levels of health each opponent has, indicated by a flash when the player strikes or shoots them. Green flashes show the opponent has high health, red flashes show the enemy is near death.

Oni does not confine the player to fighting small groups of enemies in small arenas; each area is fully open to explore. The fourteen levels are of various sizes, some large enough to comprise an entire building. Bungie hired two archit..

With a mix of classic and modern first person shooter mechanics, wall run, slide, clamber, and dash around each level at supersonic speeds as you blow through enemies using unique weaponry and fluid movement mechanics.

Use a varying range of weaponry, from a sword that can deflect bullets all the way to two full auto extended magazine machine pistols that shoot heat seeking rounds. Vending machines and boxes scattered and hidden around each level will help you arm up and prepare for combat.

Eternal War: Shadows of Light is a hard hitting, action packed first person shooter that challenges the player with intelligent demons and creative puzzles. Created by Two Guys Software (now known as XrucifiX). Full multiplayer support so that you can play with your friends online against the demon hordes in a its multiplayer mode. Prepare for the Flood! Using models and monsters from the popular Quake 2: Dawn of Darkness Mod by WardSix Entertainment!

This game can be played in first person or third person perspective. There are seventeen demon filled levels that you'll explore. To beat the game, there's more than just blasting bad guys. Often times you'll have to unlock certain areas of the level via keys, push buttons or levers. There are some nice puzzles to figure out, so keep your thinking cap handy. If you want a real challenge, there are different difficulty levels to choose from: Easy, Normal, Hard, and Nightmare.

Eternal War offers a slew of twisted enemies for you to banish. The enemy AI can be very challenging at times. Most enemies have special abilities that can be devastating if you don't stop them quickly enough. Especially when they group up on you. One of the most difficult enemy units is the Wraith which teleports and often attacks you from behind. The cloaking Teneb creatures are vile and deadly in numbers. Many of the other demons resort to fire and grenade throwing. So keep your eyes peeled!

Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion is a first-person shooter video game developed by Acclaim Studios Austin and published by Acclaim Entertainment. Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion is a first-person shooter where the player controls the protagonist from a first-person perspective. The player can choose to play the game as either Danielle or Joseph, who both have unique abilities. For example, Danielle can jump higher and carry high-powered weapons, while Joseph can crawl into crevices and use the sniper rifle in conjunction with the night vision goggles. Each character has eight main weapons that may be upgraded in different ways for a total of 16 weapons per character, although some of them are shared. Watch Dogs: Legion (stylised WATCH DOGS LΞGION) is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Toronto and published by Ubisoft. It is due to be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Google Stadia on March 6, 2020. It will be the third instalment in the Watch Dogs series and the sequel to Watch Dogs 2. The game is set within a fictionalised representation of London designed as an open world, and is playable from a third-person perspective. It features the ability to control multiple characters that can be recruited across the game's setting and who can be permanently lost during the course of a playthrough. The game will also feature a cooperative multiplayer that will allow up to four players being able to working together.

The game's story focuses on the efforts of the London branch of hacker group DedSec in combating an authoritarian regime that has taken control of the United Kingdom, thanks to the advanced surveillance system known as ctOS. To assist in this, DedSec recruits allies from across the city in order to liberate the city as a resistance force. Each character in the game will have their own background and skill set and provide a more dynamic influence to the game's narrative as the story progresses.

Quake II is a first-person shooter video game released in December 1997. It was developed by id Software and published by Activision. It is not a direct sequel to Quake; id decided to revert to an existing trademark when the game's fast-paced, tactile feel felt closer to a Quake game than a new franchise. SIGIL is an episode WAD for Doom and Ultimate Doom that is planned for release in April 2019. It was announced at Doom's 25th anniversary on December 10, 2018 by its designer, John Romero.

Although billed as a megawad with 18 maps, Romero clarified in an interview that each of the nine single-player levels includes a separate deathmatch arena, making it a standard episode. The levels were created using Doom Builder 2.

Along with the free WAD, two limited edition fan boxes by Limited Run Games were announced that are available for pre-order until December 24, 2018, and will ship in May 2019.

Blood is a first-person shooter video game developed by Monolith Productions and published by GT Interactive Software. The shareware version was released for the PC on March 5, 1997, while the full version was released on May 31, 1997 in North America, and June 20, 1997 in Europe.

The game follows the story of Caleb, an undead early 20th century gunfighter seeking revenge against the dark god Tchernobog. It features a number of occult and horror themes. Blood includes large amounts of graphic violence, a large arsenal of weapons ranging from the standard to the bizarre, and numerous enemies and bosses.

The Blood franchise was continued with two official expansion packs titled Plasma Pak (developed by Monolith)[1] and Cryptic Passage (developed by Sunstorm Interactive). A sequel titled Blood II: The Chosen was released on October 31, 1998. The game was released on GOG.com along with its two expansion packs on April 22, 2010, utilizing the DOSBox emulator to run on modern systems.[2] It was released on Steam on July 14, 2014.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. The game was released to critical acclaim, with reviewers particularly mentioning the character advancement and setting, and is considered to be one of the greatest video games of all time. Nonetheless it received some criticism, predominantly for its melee combat and numerous technical issues present at launch. The game shipped over seven million copies to retailers within the first week of its release, and over 30 million copies on all platforms as of November 2016, making it one of the highest selling video games in history.

Duke Nukem is a video game series named for its protagonist, Duke Nukem. Created by the company Apogee Software Ltd. (now 3D Realms) as a series of video games for IBM-compatible personal computers, the series expanded to games released for various consoles by third-party developers. The first two games in the main series were 2D platformers and the rest have been 3D first-person shooters.

Darkwatch: Curse of the West is a 2005 first-person shooter video game for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. It was developed by High Moon Studios (formerly Sammy Studios) and published by Capcom in the United States and by Ubisoft in Europe and Australia.

The game mixes western, horror and steampunk genres, telling the story of Jericho Cross, an outlaw gunfighter in the late 19th-century American Frontier who has been turned into a vampire and then forcibly recruited by the titular monster-hunting secret organization to fight against supernatural forces. The gameplay system of Darkwatch is reminiscent of Halo: Combat Evolved.

Darkwatch was met with a generally positive critical reception, acclaimed in particular for its relatively unique Weird West setting and artistic merits. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is an action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks and the Take-Two Interactive division 2K Games. Taking place within the fictional province of Cyrodiil, Oblivion's main story revolves around the player character's efforts to thwart a fanatical cult known as the "Mythic Dawn" that plans to open portal gates to a demonic realm known as "Oblivion". The game continues the open world tradition of its predecessors by allowing the player to travel anywhere in the game world at any time and to ignore or postpone the main storyline indefinitely. A perpetual objective for players is to improve their character's skills, which are numerical representations of certain abilities. Early in the game, seven skills are selected by the player as major skills for their character, with those remaining termed as minor skills.

Development for Oblivion began in 2002, directly after the release of Morrowind, opting for tighter pacing in gameplay and greater plot focus than in past titles.
