Denver CO - Officers were called to a domestic violence report that a man, identified as 36-year-old man, Brandon Cole, had possibly pushed his wife out of a wheelchair and was "going after" his teenage son.
A male and female officer arrived and saw a woman propping herself up in a gutter with a wheelchair nearby. Officers then spotted Cole by a vehicle and suspected he was armed with a knife. Cole was observed reaching into the driver's area of a vehicle that was parked. He acted threateningly towards one officer who attempted to user a taser to restrain him but it didn't work.
When the subject stepped away from the vehicle he began challenging a uniformed officer who was directly in front of him by taking an aggressive stance and yelling 'Let's go,'. He then changed direction and walked toward a second officer who asked him to stop. Cole did not stop and was shot as he appeared to advance upon the officer. Behind Cole, and in the line of fire, were two bystanders, a child and a woman, who were not injured.
The officers applied multiple tourniquets and gave him chest compressions until medics could rush him to a hospital in an ambulance. Cole was pronounced dead at the hospital. He was the father of three children aged 13, 8 and 7-years-old.
After the investigation, It turned out Cole only had a black marker in his hand.

Seattle WA - A woman said she feared for her life after police officers broke her door down responding to a crisis call, only to find out police were at the wrong address. Elizabeth Rehn just filed suit in federal court. She claims her civil rights were violated and police were negligent.
"I don’t think I have ever seen anybody as terrified and shook as Ms. Rehn was," said her attorney, Jay Krulewitch, "and I've been a civil rights attorney for 28 years." Krulewitch said the civil rights violation begins with what he believes was an unlawful search and seizure of her Belltown apartment. Rehn is suing the city of Seattle and five Seattle police officers over the incident.
Seattle PD body camera video from that day is part of the litigation and alleges officers not only went to the wrong apartment door, but were in the wrong building after showing up at the wrong address. Instead of responding to a dispatch call to 3028 First Avenue, the suit says police went half a block away to Rehn's apartment building, located at 3016 First Avenue.
"She was worried about being shot to death because when they broke down her door she didn't know who was coming into her apartment , she hunkered down she was about to take a bath she barely had time to throw a large coat over herself," said Krulewitch. "I believe the crying and sobbing and from what she expressed to me reflects how close she came to dying. This was not a minor incident, it was a terrifying incident to her and left a lasting imprint on her." Krulewitch said the incident will always be with Rehn and has left her with a loss of security.
Part of the body cam video provided by Krulewitch, and obtained by him through a public disclosure requests, captured the incident.
"To be a police officer, we know it’s a difficult job. They have awesome power, they have power to break down a door, enter with guns, the power to terrify people with their show of force, well they did it in this case with the wrong person, they should be held to account," said Krulewitch.
In an email SPD said the department is aware of the lawsuit and because it is pending litigation, we do not have a comment at this time.

Hellstorm is a documentary that reveals the horrific and unimaginable treatment of the German people after World War II. It shows eye-witness quotes, testimonies, and evidence of rape, torture, and genocide by the victors.
Since the 1940s, fluoride has been added to drinking water in many countries to reduce dental caries. Since then, the benefits and risks of fluoride remain among the most frequently discussed topics in the field of public health. Currently, there is no known essential function for fluoride in cells and organisms.
Recently, epidemiological studies have suggested that fluoride is a human developmental neurotoxicant that reduces measures of intelligence in children, placing it into the same category as toxic metals (lead, methylmercury, arsenic). If true, this assessment would be highly relevant considering the widespread fluoridation of drinking water and the worldwide use of fluoride in oral hygiene products such as toothpaste.
In vitro studies investigating fluoride in neuronal cells and precursor/stem cells were analyzed, and 23 epidemiological studies published since 2012 were considered. In contrast, 21 of 23 recent epidemiological studies report an association between high fluoride exposure and reduced intelligence. In conclusion, based on the totality of currently available scientific evidence, the present review does not support the presumption that fluoride should be assessed as a human developmental neurotoxicant at the current exposure levels in Europe.

Newark NJ - Officers responded to a 911 call that individuals had been shot inside a residence. The investigation revealed that responding officers encountered a man leaving the residence where the two individuals had been shot. The male was observed to be discarding an item inside a nearby dumpster. A semi-automatic handgun with a large capacity magazine was located in the dumpster later in the evening.
Multiple officers chased the male, later identified as 29-year-old Everett Rand, on foot. Rand fled around the corner to the sidewalk where two officers, Officer Steven Ferreira and Officer Ryan Castro, discharged their firearms at Rand, fatally wounding him.
A handgun, not belonging to law enforcement, was recovered near Rand. When police entered the residence, they found a 27-year-old man from Newark deceased from a gunshot wound and an 8-year-old boy who had been struck by gunfire. The child was transported to University Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister said two deputies who were injured when they were hit by a vehicle were targeted by a man "determined to kill deputy sheriffs."
A 911 call came in from a woman that her adult son was acting irrationally and violently at a home in Brandon. The first two deputies on the scene pulled up to the home and parked. Sheriff Chronister said the deputies saw the adult son sitting in the driver's seat of a car and walked over to assess the situation. Chronister said the suspect wouldn't engage in conversation with deputies and kept the windows up on his car.
According to Chronister, the adult son then put the car in reverse and drove away from the scene. But, HCSO said he returned to the scene driving at a high rate of speed. The driver then hit two of the deputies at the scene with his car. Chronister said neither deputy had a chance to move out of the way of the accelerating car.
"There is no other way to describe this other than an ambush," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "Our deputies put their lives on the line every day to protect this community and what happened today makes me absolutely sick."
Both deputies were taken by air to Tampa General Hospital and were taken to surgery. Chronister said one of the deputies may have his leg amputated due to the injuries he sustained. The two deputies involved were Corporal Carlos Brito, 39, and Deputy Manuel Santos, 31. Both sustained serious, critical injuries and are receiving treatment at Tampa General Hospital.
Sheriff Chronister said the suspect was then hit by stun guns fired by other deputies on the scene and taken into custody. The HCSO identified the man as Ralph Bouzy and said he had a criminal history with five arrests on 3 felony and 14 misdemeanor charges.
According to online court records, in Feb. 2017, Bouzy was arrested for a hit-and-run in the Brandon area. During his arrest, an arrest citation says Bouzy threatened to punch a deputy before saying, "He hates cops. He wants to kill one."
Another arrest citation from Mar. 2017 said Bouzy was arrested for a violent episode at his parents’ home during which he assaulted his father before "head-butting" an officer. "Bouzy was not taking his prescribed medication," a deputy wrote in the citation.
After those incidents, he was court-ordered to receive mental health treatment as part of his pre-trial intervention agreement. Deputies have not said if mental health played a factor in the latest incident.

Las Cruces NM - A New Mexico police officer is now facing criminal charges for shooting a man point blank in the back of the head. It all started when a gas station attendant called 911 after a man reportedly left without paying for a beer. Las Cruces Police Officer Brad Lunsford was the first on scene and began questioning the man, later identified as Presley Eze, about what happened inside the gas station. Eze was a nurse working in the area.
Lunsford and another officer are unable to verify Eze’s identity, so they forced him out of a car in order to detain him. Eze was unarmed and shirtless, but resisted the officers’ attempt to take him into custody. During the scuffle, Eze gets his hands on the second officer’s taser. A second later, Lunsford pulls out his gun and shoots Eze in the back of the head, killing him.
Now, New Mexico Attorney General Raúl Torrez has announced that Lunsford has been charged with voluntary manslaughter with a firearm enhancement. Torrez says Eze never used that taser. Eze’s family, their attorneys, and the local NAACP stood by as Torrez made the announcement. “We determined that criminal charges were justified in this context,” Torrez said.
Lunsford surrendered to agents from the Office of the Attorney General, and was taken into custody. Torrez says his office will not attempt to keep him in jail until trial.
Some say the city of Las Cruces tried to cover up what happened by not releasing public information. An outside attorney for the city “categorically” denied those allegations. He said the city was surprised to learn Lunsford was getting criminally charged, and no communication with the attorney general ahead of the announcement.
East Flatbush NY - Police are investigating after a father and son were fatally shot in an apartment building in Brooklyn allegedly by their neighbor fed up with noise. Authorities say they were found on the fourth floor of the East Flatbush apartment building. Their downstairs neighbor was apparently fed up with the noise and went upstairs before pulling a gun and shooting them both.
Family members identified the victims as 47-year-old Bladimy Mathurin and his 27-year-old son Chinwai Mode.
Marie Delilles said the downstairs resident was banging on his ceiling and angry about the noise coming from their apartment. She said an argument escalated before the suspect fired nine rounds at the victims, in front of her 10-year-old.
The family, originally from Haiti, downsized from a larger apartment which was an adjustment for Delilles' younger children. There has been an ongoing dispute for years about noise. "Kids make noise all the time, it doesn't dictate for someone to come up with a firearm and take someone's life," said family friend Mickael Louis.
Assemblywoman Monique Chandler-Waterman is helping the grieving family who is asking for security. The assemblywoman said she plans to work with police to ensure the family's safety while the search continues for the suspect.
Now the family is holding onto memories. "My son is a good boy...he's not violent," Delillies said. "My husband has no gun, no weapon, why would you bring your gun to shoot my family? Why would you bring a gun to tear my family apart?"
The original 45rpm single was issued on Philips 40320 - Pied Piper (Artie Kornfeld-Steve Duboff) by The Changin’ Times. Released September 1965.
This original recording is the lower-charting debut of the song that Crispian St. Peters would take into the Top 5 several months later in 1966.

A documentary that explores the baffling, fraudulent and destructive arithmetic of the monetary system that holds us hostage to a forever growing debt and how we might evolve beyond it into a new era. This should be shown in every school. It will help you live better and it might even save your life. Or your kids' lives.
You can't protect yourself from an enemy you don't know about. Watch and learn about the people who get rich by making you work harder and end up with less. Public school won't teach you about them, either. Why does it get left out? Watch and learn. This is stuff we don't *know* we don't know about. Presidents of the United States have been killed to keep us that way.
Sacramento CA - Officers responded to a call regarding reports from multiple callers indicating there was an individual armed with a large knife acting erratically on a Regional Transit train. Dispatch received two calls from passengers of the Regional Transit train advising of a person on the train with a knife.
Officer #1 responded to the RT train while Officer #2 retrieved his department issued less lethal bean bag shotgun, then responded to assist Officer #1. The individual stood up, holding the knife. Officer #2 discharged his less lethal bean bag shotgun at the individual. The use of less lethal was ineffective. The individual charged at officers while still armed with the knife. Officer #1 discharged his firearm. The individual stood up a second time still holding the knife. Officer #2 discharged his firearm.
After officers discharged their firearms, they requested fire personnel, a medical kit, additional resources, and developed a plan for a safe approach. After approximately three and a half minutes, officers approached the individual, removed the knife from his person, and began rendering medical aid. Officers continued rendering medical aid until Fire personnel arrived on scene.
Despite those efforts, the individual was pronounced deceased on scene.
