Movie time! You're gonna be in pictures! We're doing something different with the X-plane AOA Sims T-7A this time. That something is.... Movie making! In this mission we're going to take off and find a plane to chase. Then, I'll put that footage into a trailer for a fake Chinese-speaking drama (hence the shooting taking place in Taiwan). I made a couple of passes on a (probably unsuspecting) 737 that happened to be passing through Taiwan. (Don't worry, we got the 737's permission after we made them go full surprised Pikachu face). I had to pause to get a position during this simulation... but that's because I forgot that I could use the autopilot to hold position... Overall this was fun, and I'll have to chase again sometime!

In this video I play a bit of Mythbusters and investigate if the Angle of Attack Simulations X-plane T-7A has guided bombs. I read in the manual that the HOTAS setup needs a button for GPS target designation so I decided to check and see if the bombs are guided. (from both low and middle altitudes) I also asked the creators of this model and the answer is..... Watch to find out!

I decided to re-do the time-to-climb video from a while ago (it's on YouTube) because I have learned quite a bit about editing since then. In that video, however, I only made it up to over 90,000 feet around Honolulu. In this video, I manage to break 100,000. Just like in the last video, I use the X-plane Pizzagalli F-15 to undertake this task. I tried the webcam again, so we'll see how the views go as to whether or not I continue to use it. I also included a counter this time in order to see exactly how fast we made it to 100,000 feet. Let's jump in and go on an adventure!

Seeing as how a lot of people can't exactly go on a real world tour as this time, let's go on a tour of the virtual Philippines in X-plane! This flight in a NASA ER-2 leaves from Clark and then goes on a mission to photograph three volcanoes of the Philippines (passing by and photographing Manila in the process). Aside from learning more about the U-2/ER-2, we also had some interesting occurrences in the end of this flight (belly landing...) Anyhow, I hope you enjoy the tour!

For X-plane users: The Manila scenery you see in my video is by Cloudsurf Asia and can be found here

Sorry for all of the classifications, but we're headed to a sensitive area this flight... This is a flight from Las Vegas McCarran International (KLAS) to ████ ██. We use the C-40 livery of the X-plane 737-700 Ultimate to fly into a "special" zone that is very near Las Vegas. The second half of this flight is in night vision as we had to go dark to get to ████ ██. Make sure you stick around to the end to make a....discovery... Unfortunately, as we were flying in to ████ ██, much of the scenery on landing had to be pixelated out.

In today's video, I'm taking Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader's personal flagship, Super Star Destroyer (or Executor-class star dreadnought) Executor out for a patrol of the solar system. Hunt down the rebels even more effectively (after tweaking with the model's fuel capacity in the config file) with this immense Executor-class super star destroyer. We extend our reach all the way to Neptune in this episode, followed by visiting the Jupiter system and then parking next to an Imperial-class star destroyer in high Earth orbit just to compare sizes. Orbiter Spaceflight Simulator uses realistic physics (as far as is possible with Star Wars ships), so don't expect any hot-shot space dogfights in this series. Capital ships will be all the rage.

In this X-plane video, we're going to take the Shade Tree Micro Aviation U 2S from Scott Air Force Base/Mid-America field (KBLV) up to the area around Chicago O'Hare (KORD), Chicago Midway (KMDW) and Merrill C. Meigs Field (KCGX). We climb to an altitude of FL 700 (70,000 feet) and go take pictures of airfields and other city areas from on high. We eventually reach flight level 720 (72,000 feet) on the way home, then land back at Scott AFB to finish the training mission. Come train with me on the U-2!

Have you ever wanted to eradicate the rebel scum? Now you can by captaining your own imperial star destroyer through the galaxy! (or just the solar system for now). Below are the downloads:

I just let the IMFD set up my route and make my burns with no technique in this video, but with the UNLIMITED POWER of the star destroyer, we're not worried about fuel on such a short trip to Mars. Don't worry, we'll be using the warp drive in the end...

I decided to make a new series on my channel to give some variety (not just flying airplanes in X-plane) I love studying languages (It probably comes through in some of my videos), so I figured I'd tell some of my language related stories (with X-plane 11 still in the background). This one is about my adventures in Hong Kong while speaking Cantonese. Seeing as how I don't have a face that is expected to speak Cantonese, sometimes silly stuff happens. This video talks about some good times I had at Chek Lap Kok International Airport 香港赤鱲角國際機場 (VHHH) and in the Tesung Kwan O 將軍澳 area of HK. Hong Kong was a lot of fun! I remember sitting on Victoria Harbor 維多利亞港, seeing the Symphony of Lights show 幻彩詠香江, and then walking down the Avenue of Stars 星光大道 and seeing the names of some of my favorite Hong Kong movie and music stars (In Hong Kong, those often overlap).

We'll see how many of these language nerd stories I can come up with! Hope you enjoy!

After some time of flying modern airliners with sophisticated autopilots in X-plane, I was longing for a challenge. So, I decided to equip my 727 with the CIVA (Delco Carousel IV-A Inertial Navigation System) and learn it. This meant that I would have no GPS and only basic autopilot functions. The only GPS usable in this flight was the two moving maps (Avitab and the X-plane moving map), but those are not usable to navigate a flight (You can use the X-plane map to check the weather, though).

I'm using the FlyJsim 727 in United Airlines "battleship grey" livery to fly from Colorado Springs to Chicago in this video. The KORD scenery I'm using is from Nimbus (and I actually fly past downtown Chicago and Sears I MEAN Willis tower). We also get to see a sunrise in this video.

Today we're going old school in X-plane. In the FlyJSim 727 there's no LNAV or VNAV, no glass cockpit, much less automation, and no GPS. How did I navigate? VOR stations of course! I also used X-plane's map to check my NAV display against to make sure everything was working properly. Let's recreate one of my childhood flights from Greenville-Spartanburg, South Carolina (KGPS) to KMSP (Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota). We're also wearing old school clothing today with the Northwest Airlines bowling shoe livery from the '90s (and early 2000s).

The audio in the video messed up near the end, sorry about that.

This is one of the last videos captured with the native recorder in Windows 10. There's only 2 left after this one.

Alright, grab your airline brand playing cards from back in the day (when things were cool) and let's go!

Welcome to the post world-tour world of my channel! I'll be slowly making style changes and trying to enhance the production of my videos through this new series of flights that will eventually end on the east coast of the United States. The first flight I'm doing is temporarily moving my X-plane base from Manila to Guam. The airplane is the A320 Ultimate in a Delta livery.

Time to take a quick flight from Atlanta down to Gainesville. This is my second flight in the CRJ-200 (first flight will be posted later). This plane seems to attract less than stellar weather because on both flights I have done with this plane the weather was...interesting... This time the simulator decided it was going to give me a bad time on landing... The excuse to fly this time is.... going back to the Alma Mater!

I decided to do a video with the Virtavia C-17. I'll be flying from Clark International in the Philippines to Singapore (I have seen real C-17s parked at Clark before).

Let's have another go-round at this tour video thing. I stitched together videos and pictures I shot around Pampanga. Except for the background music and the maps, the challenge was to use as much original work as I could.

Here we have another bad excuse to fly. I want some pizza... a nice Chicago deep dish pizza. So instead of just going to find a local pizza place, we can just fly to Chicago! right?.... I was actually worried that the 747 wouldn't be able to get off the runway...

Because I like out-dated slang, I'm calling this the "Epic" Coca-Cola Trans-Pacific Shopping Trip. As another bad excuse to fly, we're flying across the Pacific from Seoul to Atlanta just to buy some Coca-Cola from the source. Anyhow, strap in, we're in for the long haul. Oh, and let's welcome the A350 back on the channel! It's been a while since we last saw it.
