What is the greatest desire that one can have‭? ‬When one looks at the world around them is it not obvious that a persons greatest desire to be paired with another being one with whom they can be one with.‭ ‬Is it not the greatest urge for a man to be paired with a woman and the greatest urge for a woman to be paired with a man‭? ‬Is this not the most fulfilling enjoyment as one can have in mortality as a human being‭? ‬Is not this what makes one feel the most fulfilled‭?

The greatest inner desire one has is indeed to be paired with another being but the greatest pairing you will ever have is not the paring with another mortal‭ ‬human. It is the pairing with a God.‭ ‬What is this pairing with God that I am talking about‭? ‬Let me explain.

In dealing with his followers Christ has referred to himself as the groom and his followers as his espoused bride.

The positions in the analogy is correct.‭ ‬Christ truly is the bridegroom and we are the bride.‭ ‬Now with us as the bride and Christ as the groom let it be understood that Christ is better than all of us.‭ ‬He is so much better than us that there is no comparison.‭ ‬He is so much better than us that it baffles the rational mind that he would be willing to give us so much as a second thought.‭

Christ is a dignified king sitting on his thrown with angels surrounding him and giving him praise.‭ ‬This praise is not forced,‭ ‬it has been earned and it is deserved.‭ ‬The angels do not tire of giving this praise because they truly love their God and accept his greatness and bask in the presence of his Glory.

What does this praise sound like‭? ‬I am sure it would sound like a young maiden coming home and telling her parents and family about a man she met whom she is going to marry.‭ ‬She tells them how handsome he is,‭ ‬how smart he is.‭ ‬She tells them how perfect he is.‭ ‬She tells them how she loves him and how excited she is for them to meet him.‭ ‬She is excited for them to meet him and is excited to see the looks in their faces as they recognize the greatness in the choice of this man whom she was able to win the love of.‭ ‬By singing the praises of this man,‭ ‬it validates not only him but also her.‭ And this is the pride the angels have in their God.

Understand this.‭ ‬All human beings need to be paired with God.‭ ‬The pairing is real,‭ ‬and it completes us as human beings.‭ ‬Without this pairing human beings eventually wither up and die.‭ ‬Without this guidance human societies eventually become corrupt and violent and their citizens eventually destroy one another and themselves. It is only through this pairing that lasting peace and happiness can be obtained.

The need for paring with a God is so ingrained in us that human beings will even invent Gods in order to try and fill this void in their heart. But this void can not be filled when paired with a fake God. We must be a paired with a real God in order for this void to truly be filled.

What does this paring look like‭? When we are properly paired with ‬God he is our leader,‭ ‬our shepherd.‭ ‬We are his followers,‭ ‬his sheep.

God is the Shepherd,‭ ‬we are the sheep.‭ ‬He is meant to lead and we are meant to follow.‭ ‬God’s lead,‭ ‬humans are lead by Gods.‭ ‬But humans are not to be lead by other humans just as sheep are not meant to be lead by other sheep.‭ ‬Humans are very blind,‭ ‬and when the blind leads the blind they will both fall into a pit‭ (‬see Matthew‭ ‬15:‭ ‬14‭)‬.‭ ‬And it is this falling into pits,‭ ‬day in and day out that has wounded us.‭ ‬Life on this earth has consisted of falling into one pit after another.‭ ‬Even if we don’t dig the pit ourselves,‭ ‬our leaders in this world dig them for us to fall in and falling into pits hurt.

Let me be clear.‭ ‬Humans do not lead.‭ ‬They were not created for that purpose and even seeking to lead puts us on the same plain as the devil himself.‭ ‬The fallen angel who wished to be exalted above God himself.

Now I talked in a previous video about the great and abominable church (the church of the devil) and the church of the Lamb of God. And in that video I explained how I did not believe that the church of the Lamb was the modern Mormon church and how I could still believe in the Book of Mormon and not be a member of the Mormon church. But there is also another reason I am going to discuss in this video where I will explain as to how I don’t believe in the Mormon church but I am still comfortable with the scriptures Joseph Smith produced or translated.

So I am going to discuss how most Mormons get their testimony of the Mormon church because I believe there is a flaw in the logic in how the go about doing that. There is a fallacy in their thinking.

It all boils down to Moroni’s challenge which is a challenge that the prophet Moroni gives in the Book of Mormon in the last chapter. In his promise Moroni tells people how they can learn if the Book of Mormon is true.

Now I served mission for the Mormon church. I served it in upstate New York and on my mission we always tried to get people to be baptized by using Moroni’s promise. So let me read this promise to you.

3 Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts.

4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.

5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.

– Moroni 10: 3-5

And I actually agree with those verses. I feel they are beautiful verses. And even if you don’t believe in the Book of Mormon I believe the principles in them are true. I believe that through the Holy Ghost you can go to God and pray and ask for the truth on something and that one can gain an answer doing that.

When I was a teenager, I took Moroni’s promise and prayed and asked if the Book of Mormon was true. And I received a very strong feeling of the Spirit in my body telling me that it was true. I also went to God and prayed and asked if Joseph Smith was a prophet and messenger from God and once again received a feeling in my body telling me that he was.

Then I prayed if the modern LDS Mormon church was true. And when I prayed this prayer about the church and it’s leader Gordon B Hinkley at the time I received no answer. I received no answer but a stupor of thought.
There is actually a scripture in the Doctrine and Covenants that also talks about receiving answers from God in prayer.

8 But, behold, I say unto you, that you must study it out in your mind; then you must ask me if it be right, and if it is right I will cause that your bosom shall burn within you; therefore, you shall feel that it is right.

9 But if it be not right you shall have no such feelings, but you shall have a stupor of thought that shall cause you to forget the thing which is wrong; therefore, you cannot write that which is sacred save it be given you from me.

– Doctrine and Covenants 9: 8-9

Note: These two verses are specifically talking about translating but I believe they apply to receiving answers in prayer as well.

So when I prayed about the Mormon church and it’s current president I received no confirmation but only a stupor of thought.

I prayed about the Book of Mormon and received an answer. I prayed about Joseph Smith and received an answer. I prayed about the church and received a stupor of thought.

So here is the thing. This is how I feel that Mormons have built their testimony of the LDS church. It is based upon their testimony of the Book of Mormon.

Now for me, at one time this troubled me and I talked about this with my father, whom I am close with. He told me that if you received and answer of the Book of Mormon that you automatically receive an answer about the Mormon church. One just follows the other.

At the time I accepted that as an answer and decided to go ahead and go on a mission. After all, what else could there be? What other church?

So, what I did was go on a mission. But even when I was on my mission I prayed about the Mormon church and its modern day prophet Gordon B Hinkley. I prayed about this throughout my entire mission and even after my mission and I NEVER received a confirmation that the church or its prophet where true.

I was raised as a Mormon but I no longer identify as a Mormon nor I do go to the Mormon church or any other church for that matter. However, I still believe in the Book of Mormon and I still believe that Joseph Smith had a prophetic calling.

Even though I am not a Mormon anymore most of the people I still associate with are Mormons and many of them tell me “you have to be a Mormon if you believe in the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith. There is no other option. You either belong to the Mormon church or you can’t believe in any of it.” I say that this is nonsense and I am going to explain explain my views on this.

So in the Mormon faith, there is a belief that there is only one true church on earth and if you do not belong in the Mormon church then you belong to the church of the devil. For them it is only those two choices. The Mormon church or the church of the devil. To counter this belief I am going to give some insight into the church of the devil and the church of the lamb of god.

Once again understand that I am not a Mormon anymore and I do not identify as a Mormon. However, I do still read the Book of Mormon and some sections of the Doctrine and Covenants as well. Now I don’t accept all of the sections of the Doctrine and Covenants but that is a story for another video. But I also read the bible and identify mainly as a Christian.

For me whether your a Mormon Christian or a non Mormon Christian I don’t feel that it is so much as important what set of books you consider to be scripture but what is important is that you believe in Jesus Christ the son of God. That is what makes a Christian a Christian? Do you believe Christ is our king? Do you believe that he died for the sins of the world? Do you believe there is any other way to enter heaven other than through him?

So once again, I identify mainly as a Christian and not as a Mormon, or even an Ex-Mormon. But now as a rebuttal to those people who tell me if you believe in these things you have to be Mormon and there is no other option I am going to give an explanation as how I can believe what I believe and not be Mormon.

I want to be clear that in making this video I am not trying to attack Mormons. There are a lot of Mormons in my life whom I am very close friends with. Also, I probably relate closer to Mormons than with any other group of people in this world. But I am not Mormon and no one has a right to tell because I am not Mormon and still believe in the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith that I have to be a member of that church.

But n ow let me talk about the church of the devil. The idea of the church of the devil is a doctrine that is found in the Book of Mormon. In the Book of Mormon there is a prophet and his name is Nephi and he has a vision where he is visited by an angel of God who takes him and shows him many of the events that are going to happen in the world. He sees the birth of Christ and his ministry. He sees things that are going to happen after the death of Christ and he also see’s the later days and many of the things that are going to happen in those times.

Now before I continue, I want to mention that it is important to understand that there have been changes in the Book of Mormon.

Here in my hand is a copy of the Book of Mormon that I received when I was eight years old. This is actually a triple combination which means it has the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price all bound together. I don’t think there have been tons of changes since this version so this version is for the most part the modern version. But I also have a replica of the copy of the Book of Mormon as it was first printed in 1830. Obviously I don’t have an actual first print as one would need to be wealthy to own one as an actual first print would cost thousands if not hundreds of thousands of dollars to own. SoBut between these two copies I have with me today there are significant changes in the text.

Now before I go further and because many of those who are watching or reading this may not have had any experience with the Mormon church I need to give some background. Nephi has a vision and in the vision he sees a the church of the devil form. So let me read a couple verses from Nephi’s vision on the church of the devil. And even though Nephi’s vision covers several chapters I am only going to read the verses that are relevant to my topic today. I may also give a short summary of what happens in between the verses I am about to read.

The times that we live in are very dark ones. The darkness is something that not everyone recognizes, but those who truly love the Lord and truly understand his ways feel it around them. Now I consider myself a Christian even though I do not go to church. But once again, the times that we live in are very dark ones and you can feel it when you walk outside. You can feel a certain darkness that wasn't there even a decade or two ago.

Our spirits are sensitive to the spiritual realm and this is especially true for those who try to follow Christ. We know we live in a dark and dreary world and people are having a hard time finding their way in it. But even worse, most people don't even know that they need to find their way in the days we are now living in. People are not standing up for what is right anymore and they are changing their morality to bring it right in line with what the devil would want them to believe.

I was born in the year 1980 which makes me 41 years old now. And back in that time, at least in the place where I lived, it did not seem like things were as dark as they are now. It seemed like there was a certain hopefulness for the future and a belief that it was going to be a bright one. And this was not just because of technology but because of the fact that people were good. People loved each other and were determined to do what was right. For me that may have had to do with the fact that I lived around a lot of Christians, however, I still live in an area very close to where I grew up. But even in this area, things have changed, and even among those who profess to be Christians spend more time partaking of Babylon when in reality they should be trying to resist it and trying to get themselves clean to return to God's kingdom.

So I have asked myself the following question. Why are people struggling in the darkness right now? Why are they having a hard time recognizing what is right or wrong? I believe people know what is right inside, but they want acceptance. I realize now that the reason why there is so much darkness in the Unites States is because people don't want to be alone. They don't want to be alone.

They would rather huddle with a group of their friends in pitch blackness not knowing where they are walking and no knowing that they are walking towards a cliff that they are going to fall off of. But in doing so, they feel the warmth of those around them and in this they find a temporary comfort because people don't want to be alone. They want to follow the group and they want to be accepted.

It is natural for every human being to want to have the love of their fellow man. They want to have that acceptance from their brothers and sisters because we are brothers and sisters. And when people see their brothers and sisters walking down a path, even a bad path, they want to be a part of it. They want to be a part of it because it is natural. It is natural for a child to love the attention and acceptance of their brothers and sisters. People don't want to be alone.

I have come to realize that there are two types of people in this world and they are this. The first is the type of person who can stand on their own and don't need anyone by them because they know what they believe and they know where they stand on things whether good or evil. And even if no one joins they will stand in a corner all by themselves because they have the inner strength to stand on their own two feet all by themselves. I believe these types of people are few and far between. But most people are the types of people that want to be with the group because they want to be accepted and don't want to be alone.

I believe there is a good answer to the problems we are facing right now and this message is really for those are not quit able to stand on their own to feet, even when the whole world is against them, but are also almost there. I want to say to you that I know God needs your help. And the answer to the crises we are in right now in the United States can be found in the Lords sermon on the mount, so let me read a part of it to you.

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. -Matthew 5: 14-16

This is a short and small introduction of myself, Lauren Jensen.

Hello, the date is January 8th, 2021. I would like to welcome you to my website/channel. I am not used to filming myself on video very much. I think I do ok, but hopefully I will get more comfortable down the road as I make more videos. It is a couple of days after congress certified the election results of the 2021 Presidential election and there was some violence at the capital.

The things that have happened recently that have made me evaluate my approach to making a change in the world. I have always wanted to make a change in the world to help make the world be a better place and I believe most people do, and I have tried many things in my life to do that. I have tried to do it with technology and I have tried to do it with creating a website where people could debate, and I had hopes that my debate website would have taken off. But I have come to realize that I honestly believe that the only way this nation, the United States, is going to improve, is if the people themselves become a better people. So I created this sight to share my insights, which is why it is called insights by me.

Most of my insights are going to be of a more spiritual nature, but I will talk about politics a little bit as well. However, I really do feel that our nation is at a point where people really have to make changes in their lives if things are going to get better.

I come from a background where I used to be Mormon at one time, I am not a Mormon any more even though I still hold many of their beliefs. But I consider myself more of a Christian, and I will be talking more about myself in my videos. I hope that what I have to say can help people who can relate to the same feelings that I have felt. However, my fear with my videos is that I don't want them to viewed primary by Mormons and those that have left the Mormon church. I hope that I have a larger audience than that, even though the chances are that I may never have any audience than that, and I guess that is ok.

I really feel myself identify as a Christian than as a Mormon. I don't know how I will do my videos, I think I will probably post on a single subject and try to keep it short because I believe people would rather watch a small video rather than watch an entire feature length video.

Hello the date is January 10th, 2021. The message I want to share in this video is about movies and Disney to be specific.

Now if I look off camera it is because I have some people with me who I may be talking to. I may ask them questions however they won't be on video.

I want to talk about Disney and I want to say that Disney is satanic. I want to start off right there. I think if you're watching Disney movies you need to evaluate your moralities in life especially if you claim to be a Christian because Disney is not good.

When I tell people this they are shocked, "what do you mean Disney is satanic, Disney's innocent, Disney's family friendly." But I tell them "no it's not. Disney actually supports abortion you know Disney and Netflix both a little while ago, when there are some states that are trying to pass some pro life laws, began boycotting the states saying they wouldn't allow their films to be filmed in those states. So even though Disney is supposedly family friendly it is not."

I'll tell you something about the entertainment industry. It is full of very bad people. I'm just going to say it. They're not good people. Even the ones that you think you can relate to are not good people and they don't hold morals. These are the types of people that sell themselves out to get to where they are at. They are moral sellouts. Sure there might be one or two, but most of them aren't working because the industry won't allow them to work.

So when I talk about not watching movies I specifically say Disney. I say Disney because if you understand that even Disney doesn't make the cut then what about everything else? Therefore, I urge you to no longer watch Disney movies because as you watch these Disney movies you're giving money to some very powerful people who then use that money to buy political influence to corrupt your minds.

Where do you think the Democrats get so many of their contributions from? With how we spend our money we are are creating a system of power that in the end wants to destroy us. So I recommend as Christians to cut out movies, cut out television. Just cut this garbage out of your life. Even the stuff that you think is innocent.

You know it's kind of ironic how people go to these protests and protest corruption in the government. But then what do they do when they're done going to protest? they go watch movies like the Avengers which is owned by Disney.

There was a time when I came to the conclusion in my own life that I wasn't going to watch these things anymore because the are produced by Babylon and the fruits of Babylon makes you Babylonian.

Let me ask those with me, is there anything you I want say? how do you guys feel about Disney?

BJ:

I feel that it is bad if you support it. Even if you think it's good it really isn't, it is like they're trying to play a trick on you.

Lauren:

This young man has more wisdom than people five times his age. You may continue.

BJ:

So I personally think that Disney's bad, if you're supporting it know they’re trying to trick you into becoming evil and bad and I think you really shouldn't be a Christian because they were full of beliefs and ideas and Disney’s beliefs is not the same belief as a that of a Christian.

Lauren:

I feel like Disney is really bad and when you support it you're really supporting someone that's actually against you and they also support child abortion which is not family friendly. It is then hypocritical for them to then go and sell baby toys and all and other things when Disney is against babies baby so it's really a thing that can deceive people because it seems innocent but then they slowly start adding bad parts into their shows and they become bad so people think they're okay but they're not.

Pretty soon it changes your mind to whole different perspective until you can't really see what is going on in the world.

Lauren:

What I think about Disney is I think they're kind of sneaky because it's shows start out kind of kiddish but then in the end they add some parts which are bad.

I feel it's really wrong because they support people that kill babies (abortion) and Disney acts like they support families but they really don't.

CJ:

Well, honestly when you give up just your notice a different feeling in that your world is more clear. It feels good not to do Disney.

BJ:

Honestly it is really bad. Satan basically is a part of it and the one doing it but doing it through someone else.

Lauren:

I agree, they're inspired. They are getting their instructions through someone else.

When it comes to political ideologies, your either a liberal, conservative, or a libertarian (those are the thee main ones in the United States). I feel all the political ideologies have their flaws. There was a time when I was a libertarian and I used to think that it was a very enlightened point of view. I felt that libertarians had it right and that they where the ones that are the closest to how God himself would run things of he were on the Earth.

Libertarians believe in the principle that people should be allowed to do whatever they want so long as their actions don't affect anyone else. I believe there is an element of truth to that and that is the reason it resonates with us, especially people who come from the Mormon church who believe in the principle of free agency, so libertarianism, which believes in free agency has got to be from god. That has got to be the way Christ would run things if down here.

I think that is very flawed because your choices almost never only affect you. We don't live in vacuums. every choice we make affects ourselves and affects our neighbors, and because of that wee need to be judicious and we need to be responsible with the choices we make. We have a responsibility to make sure our choices don't affect others, and like I said libertarians already believe that, but I think they have this idea that their choices wont affect others. So they begin to think that as long as they can convince themselves in their minds that their choice doesn't affect another that it is ok,

Now, I don't believe that. As a Christian, I don't know how a Christian can believe in the ideology that a person should be able to do whatever they want to do so long as it doesn't effect another person because one of the problems we have in this day and age is promiscuity. For example, a Libertarian will say, a person should be able to sleep with as many people as they want so long as people are consenting. Or how about an open relationship, so long as your partner agrees to it you should be able to sleep with people while your married. But this not true because when we read the scriptures the Lord has made it very clear that your not supposed be committing adultery. So, you see, the idea of libertarianism conflicts with what the scriptures teach us. Even if you could say that what you do doesn't affect other people, I still don't believe you have the right to do whatever you want. I believe that there is always someone who has the right to tell you when you are doing something wrong. That person is god. I do not believe you have a right to supersede a commandment he has given us and he has made it clear that you are not allowed to do that.

So the interesting thing about freedom in this country is that it has become, to some degree, an idol to us Americans. Freedom is our idol when we love it more than we love Christ and we choose to use freedom to do whatever we want.

I think there is a very important purpose for this nation. As a Mormon I read the book of Mormon growing up. I saw a video on youtube that compared Mormonism being the idea of American Exceptionalism turned into a religion. So Mormons believe in American exceptionalism. Also in listening to other Christians I have come to learn that this isn't just a Mormon idea, but there are many Christians who believe that as well. In fact, there were many Christians who believed that even before the Book of Mormon was written. That this nation was special for some reason.

And I believe this nation is special. I believe we were meant to have a certain amount of freedom and liberty in this nation. But the Question is what is that freedom and liberty for?
