After a seven year long break, 01A51CD0 is back!

This time we seem to have a sequel / spin off of the original Recordings ARG. The channel began uploading again last week and now has an Instagram, along with a Twitter account. Some things I haven't gone deeply into with this update, are the insistent pirate references going on at this time. From upside down phrases like, "shiver me timbers" to a picture on Twitter of a girl with an X over her mouth and the caption, "walking the plank", to a symbolic hole digging video, have all had me wondering if this isn't alluding to the many copy cats that had been out in the past as copycatting could be thought of as a form of piracy, or if Lindsey actually did get taken out to sea at some point, or if we may in fact have some sort of burried treasure waiting for us somewhere. I prefer the latter, personally.

When I was a teenager, and playing Dungeons & Dragons, I used to love playing the bad guy! Some of my favorite D&D memories were ones where I could stalk hapless villagers in the dead of night, not to mention running from a fictional law. It was way more thrilling than rescuing some ancient treasure or tied up dame...
In 2003 I had never heard of ARG when I started working on a series of web pages on Yahoo Geo Cities. It was a conspiracy spoof that would lead you on a virtual quest for the Holy Grail complete with Monty Python's Knights of the Round Table as helpers and Darth Vader as the adversary. The quest took place all across space and time and even into the alternate universe via daath... You can imagine how delighted I was when I found out about ARG.
I had been off line for a few years and that's all it takes for the internet to pass you by. It had evolved, yet there was still a lot of mystery. I think people were still a bit unsure about just how much someone could get away with some cannibalistic mayhem and not get caught. Now most of us know that there's very little, indeed, that gets past Big Brothers ever present watch. Most of the ARGs I found out about were dead, but when I finally found one to latch on to, I quickly figured it was an art peice, and that's what drove me to it even more.
It felt like there was someone else out there like me, with a similar aesthetic view about film making. I guess my sense of how to play the game was off a bit, as my understanding was that ARG was always happening, in real time...
I wanted to be a character, damnit! That's the only reason I was in. Didn't matter if I was part of that ARGs grand scheme or not, The Beatles didn't play back up for Elvis! I had my thing, they had theirs. They merely opened a door..
There were no rules written anywhere that said we couldn't play games certain ways, this is ARG! You interact with the knowledge given to you, as you interpret it. What I inturupted was that that ARG was getting tired and wanted to quit. Seeing as many had already mistaken me for them, I had no problem filling the inevitable void they would leave, if ceremoniously done. Think Dread Pirate Roberts 😉.
Well, time goes by and here we are. Time influences our perception of things and what we thought was cool yesterday is silly now. Things change and so do views. I know there are things I wanted to say but didn't get around to and I know there are also things that I may disagree with tomorrow. I just really wanted to address this elephant, no, I wanted to stand up for this elephant, because I feel it's high time someone should...

Today I went to scope out the area and maybe film a few camera shots at a supposed local haunted scene.
They say that a long time ago there was an accident that killed a bus load of children when their bus stalled on a set of railroad tracks. Now it is claimed that their ghosts will push your vehicle up and over the tracks when parked in neutral.
Before I had a chance to film anything for the upcoming documentary I am going to make, something happened to make me think twice!
Originally I had thought about making this an extra, at the end of the upcoming video, but I thought maybe it would make more sense to upload it now, seeing as it just happened.

Firstly, I would like to thank each and every one of you that have subscribed for ʎןʇuǝıʇɐdƃuıʇıɐʍ.
It was several years ago that I first stumbled across these three connected channels. Of course I had learned of the mysterious 01A51CD0 shortly before hand and like many, had no clue as to what it was going on about! Later, out of boredom (and out of trying to find something to truly chill me to the core and mess me up worse than I already was), I started reviewing the Blame Truth haunted Pokemon Blue videos. Eventually, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that 01A51CD0 was associated, and that there was, in fact, context to "their" work.
As I watched the story unfold, "genius", I thought, "It's an interactive movie!"
I had the same idea back in '03 so I some what understood.
When it was over, I watched a video by BT explaining that people didn't understand the fact that he, "was ARGing". This was the first time I'd heard the phrase.
There was little on the subject at the time, so this first impression provided, within my mind, the template of what an arg should be...

Here we are now, over four years later, and I am so very excited that you all, as well as newcomers are able to snuıoɾ this evening for a revelation. I assure you that I have been working very hard to bring to you only the best quality I possibly can at this point, and that better equipment is on its way...
I've decided to re-examine this cold case because of many points, overlooked by my contemporaries, that have come to my attention. That, combined with the fact that the information out there is greatly scattered, has had me longing to compile it all in one place for public examination. I am actually very honored to be the one to do so...

May I offer unto you, as my premiere episode, part one of two analysis videos documenting the web series Recordings. Many of you know about the strange channel 01A51CD0, but few know why the channel exists or that it's only part of a much bigger arg.
