Hello, and welcome to the Ancient wisdom modern mind podcast and today I will discuss why some people have difficulty with their meditation practice.

First you need to understand that it’s not you, this is a normal difficulty often experienced when we first begin meditation, and it relates to our assumptions about the nature of mind. The benefits of meditation have been well documented. It decreases anxiety, helps you focus at work, and rewires your brain to help reduce stress.

Research has proven that people who meditate regularly achieve massive benefits through their meditation practice: People who meditate regularly are much better at managing the day to day stress of modern life. They are healthier and more motivated. They even have more effective immune systems, better relationships and less weight issues than people who do not meditate.

When you say the word meditation, whether you realize it or not, you’re objectively referring to a noun a name for a group of mental training techniques. Meditate is a verb, but not a specific one. It doesn’t tell you anything about which technique you are using to train your brain; it merely suggests that your brain is being trained, somehow.

There’s multiple ways to meditate. I have three methods that i have used to develop my focus. Those methods are:
• The zen approach of counting your breaths
• The use of an affirmation to reprogram the mind
• A guided meditation training program

These first two methods use a repetitive process that really bores the mind into submission. The third methods effectiveness depends on your willingness to practice regularly. For in details information please listen to the podcast until the end and you can also follow me on my Facebook page.

Hello, and welcome to the Ancient wisdom modern mind podcast and today I’m going to be answering some common questions about how much time you should spend in meditation every day and how much meditation is too much, and I’ll also indirectly address how much meditation is too little for anyone who is wondering that.

With more time on our hands than ever before, many people are trying new things these days, including meditation. When you Google meditation, though, the results you get can be not just contradictory but downright confusing.

If you’ve been practicing for a while, but are struggling, the multitude of answers you find can make you question if the reason for your struggle is that you’re not meditating for the right amount of time or too often or not often enough. Naturally, one could argue that mine is just another opinion in a sea of opinions. And while that is true to a degree, I’m also hoping that my opinion as a meditation teacher can help ease your mind a little.

There are several benefits of meditation. Some of these benefits can begin to be felt with a single five minute meditation session. Explore the world of meditation, however, and you find a lot of variety. You can find guided meditations that vary from just 1 to 3 minutes up to an hour or more.

Consistency is the key here. Ideally, I would suggest that you meditate every day. It doesn’t have to take up very much of your day.

Even if you can’t manage daily meditations, choose a schedule that you can stay consistent with and is consistency of meditating will develop the habit of meditation.

Even through meditation is only a recent addition in western culture its popularity has grown quickly, along with a number of myths that have sprung up around mediation. There are also lots of dogmas and teachings within different lineages that seem contradictory and this tends to complicate our understanding of what meditation is.

Meditation in itself is very simple, and it doesn’t have to be complicated, so let’s dispel some of the myths that surround mediation.

• Meditation is only about quieting the mind and eliminating thoughts
• Meditation is a way to run away from life
• There is not enough time for mediation
• Mediation is a religious practice.
• Meditation lowers motivation

Don’t let common myths dissuade you. Find out the facts and you just might decide to finally give meditation a try.

As, It is believed that meditation works by mind-body complementary medicine. Meditation can produce a deep state of relaxation and a tranquil mind.
During meditation, you focus your attention and eliminate the stream of jumbled thoughts that may be crowding your mind and causing stress.

• Less fatigue and insomnia
• Improved airflow to the lungs
• Better pain management

Hello and welcome to the Ancient wisdom modern mind podcast and today I would like to share about a slightly different perspective on time perception and try to explained now time is actually a 9th Dimension.

Humans have a love/hate relationship with the clock, if modern idioms are any indication. Time flies when we’re having fun. It drags when we’re bored. Sometimes it’s on our side; other times it’s racing against us. The perception of time is fundamental to our experience and central to virtually all of our activities. Correspondingly, time perception was one of the earliest topics of experimental psychology and has been extensively studied for well over a century.

To understand the time perception, I combine Three Geometric Dimensions, Three Relative Dimensions, Two Temporal Dimensions and time as the Ninth Dimensional force.

Our perception of the sequence or order of time is because Temporal Dimensions are linear perceptual dimensions, which means we perceived in a one directional movement.

▶️ Breakdown of the Nine Dimensions:
✔Geometric dimensions: are spatial dimensions having physical quantities such as length, width, and depth. Until the 20th century, it was assumed that there was a three-dimensional geometry to the universe (its spatial expression in terms of coordinates, distances, and directions) and was independent of the one-dimensional time.
• 1st Dimension is length
• 2nd Dimension is width
• 3rd Dimension is Light

✔ Relative dimensions: can be seen as the fabric of the Geometric dimensions and are what gives curvature to geometry.
• 4th Dimension is Electromagnetism
• 5th Dimension is a Gravity Field
• 6th Dimension is Nuclear Force

✔Temporal dimensions: A temporal dimension is one way to measure physical change. It is perceived differently from the three spatial dimensions in that we can only experience it in a single direction, meaning that we cannot move freely in time but subjectively move in one direction.
• 7th Dimension is Preference Awareness
• 8th Dimension is Concept Construction
• 9th Dimension is time (Quark Particle)

So what is the time dimension, since time is one of the temporal dimensions we can actually give it a name, and to expand this I would like to take a particle known in quantum theory as the quark and postulate that quarks are actually time particles.

My intention is to look at time from its subjective experience in higher states of consciousness such as meditative states that create the sense of timelessness or more popularly called the NOW or present moment, a state where the mind transcends self/ego and forms a transcended consciousness.

the meditator is able to effect the one directional movement of time, by entering into the 9th Temporal Dimension

The term ‘dualism’ has a variety of uses in the history of thought. In general, the idea is that there are two fundamental kinds or categories of things or principles. A ‘Dualist’ is someone who believes that there are more or less equal forces in the world.

Dualists in the philosophy of mind emphasize the radical difference between mind and matter. They all deny that the mind is the same as the brain, and some deny that the mind is wholly a product of the brain. A wide range of arguments for and against the various dualistic options are discussed.

So, in the concept of Infinite Duality I will bring together five different concepts as evidence for why Humanity is Bound by Dualistic Awareness and these are;
• The Five Elements theory of ancient philosophy,
• The Philosophy of Dualism.
• The Five Platonic Solids of Geometry,
• The Penrose Pattern of mathematics,
• and the Light Wave Particle Duality of Probability in Quantum Mechanics.

People spend money on self improvement courses, where we learn strategies for better social skills, better business strategies, how to change our habits. there are any number of phony’s that claim to teach self-improvement, and you can do everything all these phony experts tell you to do, and you can do it absolutely correctly, and you’ll still be ignorant of who and why you are.

Self Realized isn’t about education and it isn’t about inborn holiness or mindless faith, and it isn’t about taking the next self improvement class. The self help methodology is a one size fits all approach, an outward looking method that embraces a socially acceptable hive mentality; it does not enlighten or lead to self realization.

If you want to become Self Realized then really you only need stop doing what everyone has been telling you, you should do and most importantly you need to stop listening to yourself, even your mind. Your own mind does not have your best interest at heart. It’s divided into a conscious and subconscious, the mind uses a social feedback loop to help keep you under control and distracted from your true self.

▶️ The processes of becoming self-realized have been refined for thousands of years and they are:
• Silencing the mind
• Correct associations
• Becoming an empty cup
