Is it a bigger problem that we have politicians and other government officials in the United States, who cannot be counted part of "a moral and religious people," or that the populace at large mostly doesn't qualify to be in that group?

Whichever is a larger issue, BOTH are pretty darned important.

That's what I discuss on today's edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

If that sounds intresting to you, check out the podcast for more.

When I'm able to complete the companion article on the Kurt's Religion and Politics blog, I'll post a link to it here.

In most regards, whether we're talking about politics, philosophy, or really just life in general, the reality is, I haven't moved.

Rather, I've watched as the World around me has shifted position.

I expand on that idea on today's eidtion of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

I've never been a fan of the "I believe that children are our future," song.

That said, I WILL acknowledge that doing things, "fot the children" IS important.

I talk about that on today's edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

Forgive me for saying so (or don't), but you should PRETTY MUCH ALWAYS "consider the source."

Put another way, pretty much EVERYBODY will get it wrong on some portion of what they put out there.

When I hear someone say I should do so with ZERO reason to indicate why, you have to know, THAT person will be the more suspect in my mind.

This is more or less what I discuss on today's edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

Should you consider the source?

Yes, even when it's me.

Respected people CAN be feared as well. They MIGHT be feared for the thing for which they're also respected.

Nonetheless, fear and respect are NOT the same thing.

I talk about the difference between the two on today's edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

So you think we should be sitting around the camp fire, singing spiritual songs (the one most people use being ostensibly Christian)?

You should know, folks are OUT TO KILL those with whom they don't believe.

That's regardless MY take on things (and generally that's NOT the case for me).

You may think coming together is some "manageable thing."

If you do, you should probably check out the latest edition of the Daily Summation Podcast from Kurt's Reigion and Politics to see why I consider you to be mistaken.

I'm just not willing to concede the idea, that MOST government programs are a BAD IDEA.

I've been affected by some of the ideas in play, in far more ways than I want.

I talk about this on today's edition of The Daily Summation, from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

If you're AT ALL like me, you likely look back on your past, to realize various things seemed hopeless, only to realize the situation ended up being NOTHING LIKE what you would have expected it to be.

That's what I want to discuss on The Daily Summation, from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

If you're looking at the present moment, and seeing something you think will NEVER GET ANY BETTER, hopefuly this podcast will help you to understand, we ALL have that happen, and things often DON'T turn out as we expect.

Hope you find this little video or audio podcast helpful!

You may think it's appropriate to blame the past for your own foolishness.

Let me assure you that's NOT the case.

I GET that we pattern ourselves and our societies off what has been done in history.

I'm sorry to tell you this (really I'm not, but anyway...), but I'm NOT going to count science as something to which one ought to bow.

That DOESN'T MEAN it has done nothing of benefit.

It simply means, I will NOT treat it as some sort of god.

You say you want me to become a cheater, a liar, a generally dishonorable person?

This is what you argue for, when you put for the idea I should "play their game."

When others are ignoble, evil individuals, it's NOT reasonable to seek to act as they do.

I explain my position on today's edition of The Daily Summation, from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

Whence comes "government largess?"

It comes from those of us from whom those revenuse are collected.

It doesn't MATTER the level of government.

Should that money be used to "help" people in anything more than a GENERAL WAY (through building of roads and the like)?

Not in my view.

Like it or not, there ARE people out there who WILL take advantage of situations and circumstances when they occur.

It's also fair to say, people will do what they perceive to be in their best interest, often without regard to how others will be affected.

This is certaintly true where the number of people in the workplace is concerned.

I go into this on today's edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

Do people REALLY believe it's reasonable to say that men should be required to have vasectomies, which will be reversed when they "come of age?"

Is it honestly reasonable, to compare such a procedure to abortion?

I give my opinion where this is concerned on today's edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

I don't think my view of this should be considered ANYTHING LIKE radical.

That said, if you want to know how I look at things, you should check out the audio podcast, or the video!

Is there a primary relationship between government and inflation?

I would argue, there's not.

Their pairing is secondary, not primary.

I talk a little on today's edition of the Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics, about this very subject.

One point I want to make.

Though their relationship is not what you might think, goverment is NEARLY ALWAYS responsible for inflation through one means or another.

I'd be lying if I told you I WASN'T getting tired of folks saying others hiring them to work in their company, were "taking advantage of them."

Are you a "grown up" or aren't you?

If you ARE, it's time to start taking responsibility for your current circumstances.

I discuss the idea of making a living, on today's edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

I gon't know whether I've felt the urge to retaliate in various circumstances as often as have others (I'm sure some more, others less).

That said, thankfully, either I was unwilling, or unable, to take such actions in pretty much any case of significance.

Looking back, I can say I'm more than a little pleased that's the case.

I can't IMAGINE being satisfied with the results in the long term.

That's part of what made me want to talk about retaliation on today's edition of The Daily Summation, from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

I absolutely believe, one can look back at the early Christian church.

When one does so, I'm of a mind those claiming Roman Catholisicm or Eastern Orthodoxy to be its "base," will end up being more than a little disappointed, should they REALLY PAY ATTENTION.

Don't feel bad if you think I'm out to invalidate them.

I'm that way with ALL ORGANIZED GROUPS more or less claiming to be so.

Does that mean there are not Believers in their memembership (any such group)?

I don't think so.

Yet again, I got the opportunity to visit with another young man dealing with Autism.

I wanted to take this time, to discuss a little bit, my impressions as a result of that chance meeting.

As I said in the podcast, I try to vary my content.

If I talk about an event or set of them, without considering context--those things that happen around and about it--it's VERY LIKELY your perspective on it, will change.

Add to this the idea of how significant a given scenario (or again, set of them) actually is, and the same thing will apply.

There are people out there who are INTENT on SCARING folks.

It's not that they're talking about things that aren't TRUE, rather, they often mischaracterize the thing or things in question.

I discuss this idea on today's edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

If you haven't been working to understand scope (or know folks who haven't), you should probably check it out.

Is it really true, that folks are engineering all of the bad things currently happening in the United States?

I don't tend to think so.

Rather, I think the folks in question are "poisoned by" faulty foundational tenets.

That's not to say they won't take advantage of the cascade that occurs.

I explore this idea in today's edition of The Daily Summation, from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

You'll forgive me for saying so (though frankly, I really DON'T CARE whether or not you do), but seeking an abortion for an "unwanted pregnancy," is one of the WORST EXAMPLES of "family planning" I can imagine.

You can accept it or not, but as far as I (and VERY MANY OTHERS) am (and are) concerned, life begins at conception.

If that's true, there's no better word to describe it, than MURDER.

I talk about this, and related subjects, on today's edidion of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

If you want to hear my take, check out the video or audio podcast.

When I'm able to complete the companion article on the Kurt's Religion and Politics blog, I'll post a link to it here.
