In this video I will be showing our new process for loading precision rifle ammunition. In this case, it's .223 for a brand new AR15 build that is utilizing a "cheap" AR-Stoner 20" bull barrel. The barrel was $110 plus a nominal shipping cost, and we are excited to see if it will actually keep pace with something like a White Oak barrel of the same profile. Hint: We got lucky with this one, and while the quality isn't nearly as good as the Shilen match grade White Oak, it still shoots extremely well.

I compared the Vortex Diamondback Tactical against others in its price point. Overall, it fared quite well, but was it the best?

In 1936, Remington updated the Model 8 and introduced the Model 81…basically the same gun with a few minor cosmetic differences such as a heavier pistol-grip stock and more robust fore-end. As well, the gun was initially offered in a different range of calibers: .30, .32, (dropped after World War II) and .35 Remington.
In 1940, .300 Savage was added to the lineup to make the 81 more competitive and give it “close to .30-06” performance.

CMP Match held at the Burbank Rifle and Revolver Club. This is the 200 yard Slow-Fire-Prone portion of the match. I shot an 89 with 2 X ring hits on this stage. I ended up winning this match with a 276-5X final score.

CMP Match held at the Burbank Rifle and Revolver Club. This is the 200 yard Slow-Fire-Prone portion of the match. I dropped 3 points on this stage shooting a 97, out of a possible 100, with 3 X-Ring or "Bullseye" hits. I ended up winning this match.

Gary Eliseo shoots a McQueen drill and a Mad Minute drill at 300 yards with one of his RTM Tube Chassis guns in .308.

Gary ended up getting off 25 shots, unfortunately the last one was just after time was called so he ended up with 24 hits. Really shows how effective a good shooter can be with modern bolt action firearms. The old record set back in the early 1900's of 38 hits in one minute with a Lee Enfield SMLE still stands though, for now anyways.

Good shooting Gary!

Besides also being extremely convenient for easily and rapidly swapping out dies that are already pre-set for your press, the LNL bushings actually offer another major advantage for precision reloaders.
