A belated 50th anniversary for Black Sabbath’s third record from 1971, Masters of Reality. This album paved the way for future metal sub genres such as doom metal, stoner metal, and sludge metal and the uses of C# standard tunings and D standard tunings which would late be commonly used in more modern metal bands. Dedication to the late David Bowie. I can’t believe it’s been 6 years since his passing. I would never forget the day when I heard the news about David Bowie’s death. I just turned 18 that week and me and my mom were devastated. David Bowie paved the way for so many musicians like myself both visually and musically. On Friday February 13th 1970, a band from Birmingham England called Black Sabbath released their first self-titled debut album. This album will change the sound of rock music forever by inventing the true sound of heavy metal. In honor of the album’s 50th anniversary, this is my guitar cover of track 1 of the album. The title track of the same name from the band of the same name taken from the album of the same name. Happy 50 years to Black Sabbath’s first album. The album that’ll introduce us to the world of heavy metal.

A little something different now. I got myself this Dubreq Stylophone as a late Christmas/early Birthday present and I fell in love with it ever since. It’s fun, addictive, and easy to play.
