Mr. Kennedy serves as Senior Attorney for the Natural Resources Defense Council, Chief Prosecuting Attorney for the Hudson Riverkeeper and President of Waterkeeper Alliance. He is also a Clinical Professor and Supervising Attorney at Pace University School of Law’s Environmental Litigation Clinic and is of counsel to Morgan & Morgan, a nationwide personal injury practice. He is co-host of Ring of Fire on Air America Radio. Earlier in his career he served as Assistant District Attorney in New York City.

For the Apollo moon landing, NASA artists built a huge model which was used as the moon surface for the landing of the LEM. The artists used satellite mosaic images which have boundary stripes. These stripes are visible in the moon landing footage.

The Apollo Lunar Rover footage appears to be captured on an LRV simulator rig, a life-size set or a mixture of the two.

The Apollo training program utilized crude versions of all the tech used to simulate the Lunar Rover driving on the moon's surface. The footage was captured by cameras on an LRV Simulator.

NASA mixed a tiny amount of oil in with Earth sand to keep the sand from reacting to the air on the set where the Apollo footage was filmed. The astronauts could not brush the sand off because the oil mixed in it requires laundering to remove the sand.

This video provides evidence that NASA made panoramic images from many smaller photographs to generate a backdrop for the Apollo missions. Where the photos overlap each other, stereographic imagery(3-D imagery) can be derived.

For the Apollo missions, NASA built huge sets for each location with a TV camera that captured footage. The set consisted of a circular main stage with real sand and rocks and a large circular backdrop with projected still images of model lunar landscape.

An analysis of the methods used in Apollo moon landing footage to workaround the large amounts of footage that would have been required to use slow-motion. Techniques such as the use of a fiberoptic system, multiple film gauges, freeze-frames and intentional lens distortion.

This video compares how NASA trained its astronauts with wires to how it suspended the astronauts via wires attached to their backpacks in the Apollo footage.

The footage of the Apollo moon mission was painstakingly edited, sometimes down to a single frame. This video explains the various speed change techniques that NASA implemented to remove any visual inconsistencies in order to create the illusion of low gravity.
