The IMSAI8080 was a pretty special machine, mainly because it was considered the very first "clone" computer, being sold in kit form in the mid 70s.
Fast forward to now and we have MCUs like the ESP32 which can emulate the old 8080 CPUs.
And people like Dave McNaughton have spent a number of years fine tuning this and come up with a pretty cool Maker product that gives you the whole IMSAI experience.

This week's mailbag we have a LoRaWAN certified module that was sent to me by eWBM. I had a few issues getting that going, but it was a prototype after all.
Then there were a couple of products from the PiSupply guys - the PiJuice and the Flick gesture sensor. Pretty cool.

So by now some of us have managed to get our hands on the Pi4. A week in and what does the Pi4 look like? What are the issues? Should you really buy it?
This is the first part of a two part review on the humble Pi.

I fall, I rise, I make mistakes, I live, I learn. I *MAKE*.
I like making things. The stuff I make generally solves a problem or meets a need. Even better if it is with electronics!
I also like to help and inspire people and believe that anyone can make anything.
If you're a ProMaker, Maker, or just someone starting out, or you're into STEM, "Internet of Things", makerspaces, Maker Faires, quick tutorials, projects or just an honest review on a Maker product...
Then consider subscribing!
New videos uploaded every week. Hope you find this channel both entertaining and informational.
