Heya guys, this video turned a little late but cannot help it since I had the pen incident. I was very exited to work on this though 'cause I was able to work with a lot of green and red which I really like as a color combination. I'm also happy that I was able to tackle the biggest mistake I did in the last years mermay which was that there was no underwater color palette while in this one there is.

Heya, this time I'm drawing some mermaids for instagram's mermay challenge. This was really fun work to do, as I enjoyed experimenting with their tails and different textures. In a way I suppose you could put nsfw warning, since there is some bare chest to be seen but honestly I don't think it's really needed, because the nudity in this doesn't really stand out nor is it sexualized. Btw a bit about nudity but I really like to draw this kind of casual nudity, it's very enjoyable as you can truly focus on all the curves of the body. I also like doing the tail of the mermaid,though I dunno why but I'm not a big fan of knee bend in mermaid tails so I always try to avoid doing that.

Story time. So I was listening to some youtube videos regarding to people who once got popular but then when their fan-base started to decline, they started to get whiny and blaming their fans for not showering them with money and views. This reminded me of a personal story from my own past, when I was still rather depressed and tried to find some validation for myself through my art. It eventually let me down to a destructive path, because due to my own whining and depressive attitude, I ended up losing more than I would gain. I did grow out of that mentality but I thought it would be nice thing to share (despise being something I'm actually very ashamed of) so that others may not make the same mistakes that I made.

Hi guys, it's finally time for another video, this time talking just a bit about internet sharing culture and artists' reaction to this. Now do not take this video as me telling you what you should do with your art, because it's your work and your right, I'm just offering a different perspective on the issue of mild non-profit art theft that mostly happens in a form of innocent sharing and lack of knowledge.

Sure having people steal your work is not fun but I believe that some artist also need to look into themselves and how they approach regular people who decided to use their work without any bad intentions.

This time I'm painting Katara from avatar the last airbender. I really love her design and character growth. Show is overall splendid with loveable characters and really interesting storyline. If you have not watched the show I highly recommend it. I'm also ranting a bit about critique I've received sometimes, because it feels like you can never really object to any feedback you're given, even if the feedback is not that good.

Trying to draw something a little bit different this time. I don't draw too many darker skinned people even though I should, because experimenting with different skintones is really fun to me. I liked doing this one though, because the skintone is a bit more orange or yellowish rather than more towards the red which normally is the case with skincolors.
