For those of you who may have been following the Kyle Rittenhouse Trial, you're probably aware that prosecuting attorney Thomas Binger was accosted by Circuit Judge Bruce Schroeder for attacking Rittenhouse's choice to remain silent when questioned by police. While some people may allege that the only the guilty would choose to remain silent, the right to remain silent is in fact one of the most important rights of the accused, and one that any innocent person should take seriously.

This past week, Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen called for abolishing the US Debt Ceiling once and for all. Although it was always a given that the US would continue to raise the debt ceiling every time it was reached, this is an astounding admission that the entire government's spending apparatus is fraudulent.

Zohran Mamdani, New York State assemblyman, has paired up with the Gravel Institute to argue that affordable housing is a human right. Not only that, but the famous "Red Vienna" of the 1920s and 30s proves that public housing works. However, the short time period that "Red Vienna" lasted ought to be a red flag in itself. Like all socialist policies, public housing suffers from the economic calculation problem.

Renowned socialist Robert Reich is at it again, trying to convince the naive that Universal Basic Income (UBI) has been proven to work. In his video, "The Truth about Guaranteed Income," Reich cites an experiment in Stockton, CA as evidence that unconditional cash payments are the key to alleviating poverty.
However, Reich ignores one important point. The Stockton experiment was funded voluntarily through the Economic Security Project. What then does this have to do with a nationwide, federal UBI funded through compulsory taxation?

On March 20th, 2021, Police charged a white, cis-gendered male with the murder of 8 people connected to massage parlors, 6 of whom are of Asian decent. As might be expected, everyone from President Biden to the local mainstream media commentator jumped on the opportunity to frame the dispute as one about a white male using his racist beliefs to justify killing innocent people of color.
However, all the evidence so far, leaves one scratching their head as to how they could conclude that the motivating factor in this incident was racism. This is yet another example of cultural Marxism in action, and an effort by government to fan the flames of fear in its effort to consolidate power.

On January 25, 2021, President Joe Biden signed an executive order that sounded eerily similar to President Donald Trump's "Make America Great Again" slogan. Titled "Executive Order on Ensuring the Future Is Made in All of America by All of America’s Workers," it dictates that the Federal Government shall use all its powers to ensure that goods and services are made and purchased inside the United States. However, as was the case with Donald Trump's infamous tarriffs, any such "Made in America Laws" only benefit certain politically connected businesses at the expense of the general public.
