This video of a POV of the full BMO Marathon. I hope you enjoy I put a lot of effort to complete this and gave it my all on this day. There is an intro part then race starts at around kilometer 35 my stabilizer ran out of batteries and I ran holding camera in hand sorry for shakyness. I went into this race confidently. First half of the race I thought I was taking a slower pace then I could. It felt good the first half then by the time I got to Burrard Bridge my pace slowed down a bit. Once I was at Stanley Park I was slowed down even more, by the time I got half way around the Park I got some serious cramps in my right leg and left back which actually forced me to walk for a minute or two then I could only jog till the finish line being really humbled down as many people passed me.
I'm proud for finishing my first full marathon after attempting and failing 15 years ago. I'm Disappointed I didn't train better for this event. Congrats to everyone who ran and came out to watch and the volunteers. Very inspiring, back to the drawing board to work on improving and reinventing myself. Hope you enjoy the video and thanks for your time.

Package Pickup is available the Friday and Saturday immediately before the race at the Health, Sports & Lifestyle Expo. Registration will also be available at Package Pickup via credit card. Package Pickup is not available on race day. Virtual runners may opt-in and pay for shipping within Canada and the US.

All runners must collect their own kits during the Package Pickup hours. Race day pickup is not an option. Runners will be required to present their Bib Number and Photo ID.

Shipping is not available for in-person races as race bibs with timing chips will not be mailed, and not available outside of Canada and the United States due to high and extremely variable shipping costs. The Grouse Grind® is a 2.5-kilometre trail up the face of Grouse Mountain, commonly referred to as “Mother Nature’s Stairmaster".

If you are hiking up the Grouse Grind, purchase a Download Ticket for your Skyride trip down the mountain. Downhill hiking is not permitted.

The BCMC Trail is located just east of the Grouse Grind and offers a less busy alternative workout. The start of the trail is the same place as the start of the Grind before branching off onto the Baden Powell, then left at the junction up the steep hill to the Grouse Mountain chalet.

Where: Run through a beautiful scenic course that highlights Vancouver‘s downtown core starting at Burrard and Georgia heading North to Denman street. The course runs through Vancouver’s West End to the English Bay
waterfront and then heads east along Beach and Pacific Ave with scenic views of the waterfront. The runners then head south across the Burrard street Bridge and pass along South False Creek and Mount Pleasant neighbourhoods. The runners head past Science World and Finish just west of the iconic BC Place Stadium.

So I started at the back around 30 seconds behind. I was passing everyone but there was 1 girl who was too fast I couldn't get to her the whole race till the last 1k she disappeared. She went the wrong way rather to the finish of the 7k she headed towards the half marathon second lap and I won the race.

Located in the middle of the city, Burnaby Lake Regional Park is a stunning wildlife sanctuary. The lake was created by a glacier 12,000 years ago and its shores were home to sawmills in the late 1800's.

We race Burnaby Lake twice a year with annual races, Shamrock’n Race in March and the Rubber Ducky in October. The Shamrock’n Race 7 Mile and Half Marathon circle the lake clockwise and the Rubber Ducky 7 Mile and Half Marathon circle the lake counter clockwise.
