Filmed in late March 2018 in a single night, "Bucky" won a bare-bones $1500 budget from film collective We Make Movies, as the script was one of the winners of their second "annual" script writing competition.
Literally winning Best Short at its first festival, the Golden State Film Festival, at which "Bucky" officially premiered 24 March 2019 at the Chinese Theaters in Hollywood.
Since then (along with that win), has won 47 awards in numerous film festivals across the world; including but not limited to Best Short Film, Best Dark Comedy, Best Fantasy, Best Dating Short [?!], Special Mention, and Special Jury Awards, et al;.
It made it to Finalist in 21 other festivals; 10 Semi-Finalist wins, 2 Nominations. and 1 Honourable Mention.
