I've seen this a lot with the dance streamers in afreecatv, flextv, twitch, douyu, huya, CC... it's specially jarring when streamers with +1000 streamed hours are unable to figure this issue.

The very common problem of the encoder/stream frame rate not matching the camera frame rate.
Most of the time when these two don't match there will be stutter, the movement won't be fluid and will look unnatural, this is also known as video stutter.
The rare exceptions being when the camera frame rate value is a multiple of the encoder, e.g., encoder 60FPS - camera 30FPS.
In this video the encoder works at 60FPS and the camera at 24~FPS, so 36~ frames are duplicates and there is stutter.
The most common wrong configurations are encoder at 60/30 and camera at 25/24~FPS (because stupid movie frame rate).

Also the disco lights in the background. I don't get it she was doing great during January and February and recently the only tolerable part, when she isn't self-interrupting, is the ear eating fanservice.
All the "veteran" Chinese ASMR streamers keep getting worse and worse: 轩子巨2兔, 贝拉小姐姐, 阿稀稀大魔王... and all share the same issues: badly setup and de-noised 3Dios/Ku100, higher volume rodes, "alien/monster" mouth noises, camera tracking, constant talking/self-interruption...

She has the rode mics volume higher so they block the 3Dio/Ku100, plus it looks like she thinks the rodes are necessary because the other two have lower volume and it's hard to hear her, that's some bad decision stacking.
The self-interrupting is at an all time high during the ASMR parts.
Silver lining less to watch and edit, more space saved.

Don't expect any other uploads like this one, this is just evidence of how things have changed (for worse), if it gets taken down I won't upload it again, maybe I'll upload one of the last 2018 streams of Xuanzi instead.
Ah~ how good did we have it back then:
- No camera tracking.
- Rarely any camera focus issues.
- No noise reducing audio filters.
- No "mono audio", every time the stereo is switched off the stereo or "moving audio" filter, cycling from right to left channel and back, is used it feels like the audio quality goes from top tier to trash tier, the VR audio quality atmosphere is destroyed.
- Less or no video filters (now there are: the lipstick, the eyeliner, smooth skin, blurs, that mask some use to make it look darker, I know the "face thinner" has always been there for everyone but Bella's face barely changes).
- Static overlays or no overlays.
- Overall quieter streams.
- Barely no echo sound gimmick.
- More ASMR variety (I miss the "basics" like finger tapping or just slow breathing).
- Less interruptions.
- Less posing.
- No blinking/moving lights in the background.
- Only the best mic (she had a 3Dio a clone at the time), however way better setup than the rodes or the KU100 she uses now.
- No monster/alien mouth sounds with the rodes.
- In the case of Bella she seemed happier back then (I'd say it's the case for all the streamers of that period that still stream now).

I know it wasn't perfect, back then I complained a lot about the mouse clicks, but in retrospect mouse clicks are nothing to compared to how bad the current content is. After having watched so much current ASMR, if I switch-watch unedited streams from 2018, with all the clicks, the improvement is so big that I don't mind.
They, the Chinese ASMR streamers, managed to do "lightning in the bottle" but now the only one that seems to be able to replicate that is Xuanzi.

I've seen this trend appear in Afreecatv too, specially those streams where it's a group of people with the U shaped table/s, dance stage in the center and screens in each side of the room, similar bad video quality results as this Minana video (plus Afreecatv is still plagued by the frame rate issues).

She keeps outdoing herself in ways to lower the visual quality
by using shiny clothes + blinking lights (+christmas lights), which combo with the windows behind.
This could be diminished using less or no video splits. The previous stream, 2024 03-05 also suffered this issue.

It's hard to tell in real time but at x8 playback speed it's ridiculous.
She also had bit-rate starving cases every time she danced with the blinking lights, but I've already made several video about it.

The ""silver lining"" is that the video quality was better because there was WAY less bit rate dedicated to motion, not that it mattered too much because she went strong with the camera/software? tracking too. But yeah, it's back to "early 2021" when she got a better camera but the Douyu 15FPS issue was happening to everyone on Douyu (however this time it isn't Douyu's fault).

I wasn't going to do this video, I was going to wait, but since she did try to fix the issue unsuccessfully, it's warranted to address the issue. She started the stream at 12.5FPS, then restarted the stream to 17.5FPS, then while she was dancing for some unknown reason it got to 25FPS and then, about one hour before the end of the stream, she restarted the camera? to finish at 15FPS.

I might be wrong but if she doesn't make some changes... I mean, her streams have gotten worse lately, she even seems more upset.
Also that "mouth sound" she does in the Ku100 part, I mentioned this before, but these type of "mouth sounds" sound like some kind of alien/monster doing noises, not very ASMR, these weren't a thing back in 2018 (closest thing was the "cracking/crushing" ear eating).

Showcase of how de-noised the 3Dio/Ku100 are, if it wasn't for the music it would be full silence when she is idle. This is what I call the difference between having VR quality audio and binaural "phone" quality audio. Also that's why the rode mics sound better, they aren't de-noised (or not as much).

Xuanzi also does this too sometimes, she changes the mic configuration and sometimes the background noise can be heard a bit and at times is nearly full silence.

Ironically the music "short echo" is back. She also needs to fix the camera source not using the whole video output, it can't be seen in this video because the text hides it, but her face animation, the one she uses at the start/end of the streams, can be seen a tiny bit at the bottom of screen.

It only lasted the first minutes of the stream because the compound effect of the blinking lights +
chest piece detail-reflections + the window/s reflecting everything, there wasn't enough video bitrate
to deal with all that and the video quality dropped hard.
It could have been even worse if more camera tracking or fast dancing happened.
See the end of the video for a part from the same stream with none of that (except the windows reflections).

I used this part because of the "camera tracking fail", moving the camera/ku100 under the pikachu overlay. I don't like camera tracking in this context.

It has the same issue as the 3Dio, too much audio noise reduction filter, but overall it's way worse because:
It's sounds very sharp+flat, maybe she upped the noise reduction (I don't know), but from other
streamers using the ku100 it always sounded worse than the 3Dio-like binaural mics.
It's extra work for Bella. Also she is doing ASMR she hasn't done recently with the 3Dio,
like the pinecone, and it doesn't sound better, which as an old viewer it seems
like she feels contempt for the 3Dio mic or her viewers. Additionally she is using it way more
than the 3Dio during the stream, which again seems like she feels contempt for the 3Dio or her viewers.

Previously a tapping part like this would be overflowing with the extra noises.

Took one year and a few months... also there are some new changes:
Audio bitrate is 160kbit/s now, which is sufficient~,
"blocks" missing can be seen in the audio spectrogram because the encoder gets starved sometimes.
Now she uses i-frames every 8-10s, which is weird because
streaming sites recommend 4s at most and the most recommended value is 2s.
She also has some kind of noise-gate issue where the background white noise goes on and off.

Fixed (not really) around 2023-10-22, now it's 25FPS for the camera, 60FPS for the encoder plus the Afreecatv frame rate issue (see bottom of the description).

Camera is working at 12.5~FPS, which is a very low frame rate,
I'm surprised no one noticed or complained.
Also she is streaming/encoding at 60FPS, that 47.5FPS difference generates stutter.

Camera works at 25FPS but she is streaming/encoding at 30FPS, that 5FPS difference generates stutter.
Her bitrate is now fixed, it's back to the more common 8000~kbit/s.

There is something wrong with the bit rate reporting on Afreecatv, it's called "Quality" there, checking her streams, Afreecatv says 8000K but according to the player/mpv it stays around 7000~kbit/s, not 8000, strange, maybe Afreecatv has VBR too.
