First RCA branded tv on the channel. European heritage but made in Thailand, is it a good little performer?

Sonys back! An early model in the transition of curved trinitron crt & dark cased Sony TVs of the past to pure flat tubes with grey/silver casings. Sony has struggled a little with geometry over the years, how will an early generation flat tube fair given the greater difficulty of displaying straight geometry on a flat tube?

Quick vid of the CRTs I have acquired of late.

A Long overdue appearance by Pioneer has arrived. No mucking about, this unit is an RGB capable 1990's era 50" display. Pioneer is known for its masterful Plasma Kuro TVs and monitors. Pioneer was also very respected in the field of rear projection television with its tail end ELITE models, how well does this earlier model fair?

I'm still trying to save lots of CRTs, vintage computers end electronics. This lot had some nuggets of gold however condition was pretty shabby. A selection direct view, rear projection and front CRTs are in this mix.

4 x 4" rack mountable monitor unit. Sony CRTs but not Trinitron, black & white tubes.

A portable Grundig with a range of connection options. Japanese tube that is almost perfectly flat. Circa early 90s by the looks of it.

Yet another grey shelled Sony from the early 2000's with scart. Will this be like the others having a 100hz scan rate only? Will it support RGB?

Finally a Toshiba TV with Scart. Older vintage, 1990ish. Big screen at 30". RGB, Svideo, Composite all in compatible with NTSC and PAL versions of these signals.

Brand new in box old stock, Sony PVM-6041QM. The monitor was originally purchased from Sony Australia by a television company but never used until now.

14" Pro Barco monitor with 750 line tube. Can the Belgium made monitor compete the likes of Sony, JVC etc in the broadcast arena?

50/60hz Loewe tv, great choice for retro gaming with scart rgb, no 100hz picture picture degrading nonsense. This model along with many other Loewe CRT tv's has the E3000 chassis inside, this produces a great looking picture. Great picture quality, cheap, and still a few around make this one of the best pickups in Australia for retro gaming!

A very promising looking set from a glance, HD capable, Scart sockets, and the Sony brand all rolled into one!

However, this is the first display Ive had with scart that does not support RGB! Component and svideo via scart but no rgb, a real disappointment.

One of the best crt displays yet. A late 80's classic with RGB scart. Beautiful color, highly recommended!

This is a particularly good example of the model, A few more of these have appeared lately but they don't match this one's great condition. Finding one that hasn't worn out too much could be difficult.

Heres a Panasonic CRT TV (TX80P300A)from the late 90's with a VGA input. Featuring a competely flat screen in a 4:3 aspect ratio. Two component inputs are present and support 480p

This tv has developed a few faults affecting picture quality. The tv will be demonstrated via a Dreamcast connected using the offcial VGA box.

Orion tv, Big basic 80cm(32") 4:3 crt tv with scart. Decent picture, 1 scart for rgb, another for svideo. A cheap tv with good picture to pickup for your old school gaming needs.

The flyback transformer inside has been replaced with a non original, this may cause the picutre to vary in appearance rom orginal spec, but should be still representative of the original fairly well.
