Just a fun little video I made based off of my love for J.R.R. Tolkien's legendary fantasy story, the Rankin-Bass movie I loved so much as a child that introduced me to it, and the Leonard Nimoy song. I figured, why not put something together like this, a TV-style anime with this song?

Just a collection of all the scenes depicting the Civil War scenes here, best parts of the film. Yeah, I'm a Civil War buff too, albeit the fact that, though I'm going to be slammed for this, I do NOT like this film.

The Confederacy was wrong, lost the war and deserved to, get over it, Lost Causers (not saying all Southerners are like this, only talking to/about the Confederate sympathizers who love to deny the Confederacy's crimes against humanity, and whose mindsets never made it outside of the 1860s). Little fun fact for the record, the crying boy playing "Dixie" (North Version > South Version) on the fife is Tom Sawyer, Dr. Meade's son who says "I'LL KILL ALL THOSE YANKEES" is Huck Finn, and that ill soldier talking about his brother Jeff, believe it or not, actually is played by Jiminy Cricket, though a little bit of historical inaccuracy is shown (though to be fair, there's no way this film is accurate); the Battle of Bull Run was only referred to that by the North/Union/Yankees, it was the Battle of First Manassas according to the South/Confederacy/Johnny Rebs.

Shame seeing that Jesus window get smashed as it's beautiful, but damn, that priest has balls.

A fan edit of a 1989 flawed, but classic anime film known as Venus Wars, based on a manga of the same name, and featuring character designs by the legendary Yoshikazu Yasuhiko of Gundam fame, and music by Jo Hisaishi, the beloved, talented Studio Ghibli composer and The John Williams of Japan. Good film, but has some flaws. This fan edit removes what is an outdated, offensive depiction of a character who also serves no purpose in the film. And even if it weren't offensive, still slows down the pace of the film. Even SciFi actually removed these scenes when they aired it on their channel.

Just a test to see what the classic anime opening looks like with the 2019 English theme by the Struts (only good thing to come from the Pe...I mean Netflix exclusive remake). It's also what an English dubbed opening version of the classic opening should be.

In case any Saint Seiya fan is interested in seeing how bad DiC Entertainment butchered one of the best anime series ever made, well, get several bags and bowls of chips as I have a big bowl of cheese consisting of what I consider to be the best examples of hilariously bad dialogue and puns, silly voice acting, absurd and at times terribly hypocritical handling of stuff the series had such as violence, blood and death, shocking lack of dubbing in some areas, references to things that did not exist in 1986/1987, and the butchering of several beloved characters, more befitting Animation Magic aka Zelda CDi and I.M. Meen cutscenes all wrapped up in a frilly pink bow that would more have fitted a pony. If the English dub of Garzey's Wing is "The Room" of anime English dubs, this is the Troll 2. Time to activate your POWER OF PEGASUUUUUUUUUUUUUUS!!
