Fancy graduated from high school specialized in humanities, at the same time being at Capuchin monastery. Fancy was fond of music. In particular, he was interested in rock 'n' roll, which prompted him to join band THE MOUNTAIN SHADOWS, which has already gained success with the local audience.
Tess (real singer name) started composing while playing the guitar. Fancy got acquainted with the music publishing industry and later became a member of the GEMA (German Society for musical performing and mechanical reproduction rights).
The artist started to produce other musicians at the same time developing his solo career and recording songs in German. One of the most important meetings was the one with a legendary musician Jimmy Hendrix in 1967 in Munich. Dave Sidle, who recorded Jimmy Hendrix’s songs in studio, arrived to Munich to record Tess’s songs at Studios studio. Together they recorded songs «Full Moon Night» and «Down On The Corner».
In spring of 1983, Tess passed his tune to Todd Kennedy, who immediately found its proper application – that’s how the song “Slice me nice” was born.
Thus appeared an artist with a stage name FANCY who gained popularity and love of a huge audience of fans worldwide.

In 1988 one the most famous songs “Flames of Love” took 1st place on B3 Radio Charts
“Bolero” was the first on Spanish charts
Many of Fancy’s songs are included in Top10 on major European and international radio charts, including Asian ones.
“Cocoon” entered the Top10 radio chart in UK
3 artist’s songs were included on Top10 U.S. Billboard Dance Charts
In Germany, two albums "Best Of" and "Hit Party" were featured on the Media Control LP charts.
Great success was gained by Fancy’s “Megamix”.
Fancy has become a cult singer and until today remains a retro legend, successfully touring all over the world.
Fancy is also working in collaboration with other artists as a producer.
