I use a lot of clips from many big Rust content creators in this video, not because I solely listen to these peoples words as gospel, but because it helps me illustrate my points better. I have made these opinions on my own over several years of playing this game, it just seems that if you play this game for long enough, you'll start to agree with the people who have been playing it for even longer.
Obviously some of these issues are bigger than others, I'm only really speaking the way I am for intrigue. It may come across in this video that I genuinely hate this game with a passion, but Rust is still a game that is dear to my heart and I just want the best for it.
What does the future look like for Rust? I ask this question because Rust is an ever changing game where the developers aren't afraid to make drastic changes to the game play. We’ve seen many different versions of this game and saying Rust is the same core experience as it was in 2013 is just a straight up lie. Nearly every single asset, sound, and game mechanic has been changed since the beginning. This game is in a constant state of renewing and redefining itself which many other games wouldn't dare risk to do. And with these massive changes you risk alienating a large chunk of your audience. There really isn’t any other game like rust that tries its hand at so many different things and succeeds as much as Rust does. We love Rust for this reason and its unforgiving nature to never stop changing. It's what keeps the game fresh and m..
