Rabbi Rav Michael Laitman says they came to Earth from another dimension and that they have the ability to transform themselves so as to look and act like humans from the region they arrive in. In researching the subject matter, I have learned that "they" have been here for approximately 6,000 years and they first arrived in the Caucasius Mountains; thereafter, they traveled to Assyria, Babylon, Israel, Turkey, Khazaria, Europe, the Americas and so on. Laitman is a Kabbalist: Kabbalah literally is an esoteric method, discipline and school of thought in Jewish mysticism.

The Book of Enoch describes stars in the heavens as "luminaries" with the capability of transgression; that is, the stars are alive.
