It's important to note that this video is the potential of what could happen if COPPA were to be enforced as the FTC intends to. The reality of the situation is that what the FTC is attempting to do is far beyond its scope provided by COPPA. It's likely that the FTC, if it does decide to act, will do so against a large creator to make an example. If it is challenged, in court which is conceivable, this new policy by the FTC will not stand.

Just in time for the fun to begin, YouTube has initiate ad-pocalypse part II after it was discovered individuals were engaging in the fetishization of children, primarily in comments sections while the YouTube algorithm feed them a steady stream of "provocative" soft-core child porn (essentially). Operation Choke Point was a controversial US Federal Government operation with the claimed intent of protecting consumers and combating fraud. Choke Point, however, did not stop there, it would go on to be used to target legitimate businesses and start a financial blacklist blitz resulting in a nearly universal denial of bank accounts and payment processing for affected persons. Ultimately instead of being used for noble causes government officials initiated a moral crusade which affected an untold number of people and businesses.
