One of the best kept secrets of the late 90s-early 2000s underground pool skateboarding scene in LA was this gem of a kidney pool with a very unique shallow end design and some flaws in the mid to deep end, but overall a pleasure to ride and an honor to document.

Lance gave this to me when he lived down the street from me. I set it up and rode it a few times thinking I would probably get another one, but never did and decided to retire the setup and disassembled the skateboard for safe keeping. Still in new condition and ready to ride just like the day I set it up. Pretty awesome graphics too!!!

It had a straight wall on the right side (kidney roman hybrid shape) and had a little bit of cancer in a few areas. The session was at the invitation of Zack Grove, so thank you very much Zack for inviting us out to sample the goods of some of the best pools West Los Angeles has to offer. This pool was a stand out at the time and it’s a stand out in retrospect. The quality of the bowl was high although it had a little bit of cancer going on but it was still pretty fun, pretty rad, highly skate-able and not too bad for a 20 year old session.
