The Preacher of the Popes since 2009 Cardinal Cantalamessa declared that the 'historical' [aka REAL] Jesus never uttered all the I AM declarations attributed to him in the Gospel of St. John. Have you ever wondered how can a Priest, Bishop or Pope teach something that is in clear contradiction to Holy Scripture? The answer my friends is that they do not believe in the Divine inspiration and thus inerrancy of the Bible; contrary to the teaching of the Catholic Church and even its most recent Council - Vatican II.

Can a Catholic or in fact ANY Christian deny that Jesus Christ founded His Church on Peter when he changed Simon's name to Rock? Dr. Jules Gomes who holds 'doctoral' degrees and former correspondent for 'Church Militant' has just DENIED that:

+ A Pope has the grace of infallibility according to the STRICT boundaries of First Vatican Council AND

+ The bishop of Rome does not enjoy Primacy which even the Eastern Orthodox are willing to concede.

This is my reaction and translation of the lecture of Coptic Orthodox Priest Fr. Daoud Lamei entitled 'Which Christianity should I believe?' Catholics and Eastern Orthodox will find it hard to disagree with anything Fr. Lamei is saying. Indeed it is an excellent restatement and reminder of what we should look for to find True Christianity / Apostolic Christianity. If you are a 'Bible Believing Christian' you too need to know what is the True Christian Faith that came to us from the Apostles.

Timothy Gordon of @RulesForRetrogrades has stated on numerous occasions that the liturgy is just a 'discipline' and as such the Pope has power to do as he pleases with it all the while claiming that he is a 'Papal Minimalist'! He cites Vatican I as giving the Pope such a power. Is this True? Is this a Fact? Is this based on ANY ecclesiastical document?

Even 'Catholic Answers' deceives a questioner on the same question. The inquirer cites The Dogmatic Council of Trent on the matter in which the Council forbids any changes to the Ancient Rites but 'Catholic Answers' perverts the clear meaning of the Text of Trent to pretend that the Church can alter liturgies at will.

Mons. Klaus Gamber lauded by Cardinal Ratzinger [Pope Benedict XVI] as a TRUE Liturgist completely contradicts this mistaken opinion of Mr. Gordon and the lies of 'Catholic Answers'.

Who is right? Those who think the Pope has unlimited power and is a walking god or those who hold the Pope to be the Guardian of Tradition not its master.

In the amazing book called 'The Departure of the Soul - According to the Teaching of the Orthodox Church' published by St. Anthony's Greek Orthodox Monastery the Catholic teaching on:

- The attacks of demons on the departing soul
- The aid of the saints and angels at the moment of death
- The Devil being 'the accuser' of the soul and his desire to capture it forever if possible.
- Purgatory which is called the 'toll house' or 'toll houses' where an exact account is rendered for unconfessed or unrepentant of sins and from which the soul will not be released till 'the last farthing' is paid.
- The Eastern Orthodox do not used the TERM 'Purgatory' but the BELIEF in it is the same as the Catholic Church because it is The Apostolic Teaching.
- Prayers for the departing soul and for the dead are very efficacious for their repose and help.

Keeping in mind that the Catholic Church is the One True Church of Jesus Christ this is an amazing book that includes the saying and teaching of Saints before the 'schism' and Orthodox saints after the 'schism'. Highly Recommended.

One at a time they perplex, but all together they shock. We are talking about the expulsion of bishops [not to mention his attacks on Traditional Religious Orders] by Pope Francis, which have punctuated his entire pontificate. The National Geographic had a report on how many young Catholics are embracing the old ways that even the Church has referred to as backwards. Another Traditional Catholic Order 'in full communion with Rome' has been marked for destruction by non-Catholic Catholics. Attacks on faithful Catholic religious communities and orders is accelerating and expanding. It is time to stand firm in the Faith and defend those teaching the undiluted Truth.

Cardinal Gerhard Müller has said that while Pope Francis “has already uttered plenty of material heresies” he magically is still Pope. He says the same about the possibly doubtful election of Francis at the conclave. The accelerating novelties - 'heresy of practice' [Card. Muller] - being introduced by Jorge Bergoglio is dizzying. Is it time to say to Francis 'Go behind me, Satan, thou art a scandal unto me: because thou savourest not the things that are of God, but the things that are of men.' [Matthew 16:23] and 'We ought to obey God, rather than men' [Acts Of Apostles 5:29]?

Do Christians and Muslims worship the same God just with different expressions of faith? Do we both worship the God of Abraham? What about Vatican II? Didn't the Council declare that Muslims 'together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind’s judge on the last day'?

St. Martin's Lent, the Advent Fast, the Nativity [Christmas] Fast is a One of the Four Traditional Fasting seasons of the Church. Fasting - if done right - is a great aid to the spiritual life which is it's primary purpose. A happy consequence of following the Traditional fasting discipline of the Church is a healthier body and a more serene mind.

Fasting, Prayer and Alms were commanded by Our Incarnate God Jesus Christ. It is not an option. God know what is best for us and we are to take Our Lord at his word. So let us do the Advent Fast on our own initiative following the Ancient Practice of the Church. This will make it even more acceptable to God - Father Son and Holy Spirit - since there is no Law requiring us to fast any longer. We simply do it for the love of God and obedience to the tradition delivered by the Fathers of the Church to the People of God.

In his address to participants in the World Jewish Congress, Pope Francis does not mention Jesus, Christ, Messiah, God the Father, the Holy Spirit or the Trinity. He chooses to let the Jewish visitors believe that their beliefs are as valid as those of Catholics and to keep on following their 'faith' and traditions. Not very loving of our 'Pope' if he truly cared about the eternal salvation of his 'brothers' in 'faith' and fellow 'believers'.
