Jim Fetzer told his audience that the crime scene photos from Sandy Hook were 'leaked from an inside source". He said he was told this by one of the co-authors of the Sandy Hook book, a man named Allen Powell. Powell later told Fetzer than he "found" the photos one day on the net. Truth is the photos were released in the Sandy Hook report.

Fetzer has since said that they did not know the true origins of the photos at the time the book was written. Powell knew where they came from, but chose to lie instead. Evan after being lied to, Fetzer allowed Powell to co-author the Sandy Hook book.
