I originally played this for the GameCube when I was a kid, but this version is on Steam. One of the best Resident Evil remakes of all time, using the original as a solid foundation but delivering a much better experience in turn.

Given how y'all voted, I'll be playing as Chris, probably on one of the harder difficulties. Gonna be a tough fight, but hey, let's see if I can do it. Either way, Happy Halloween, everybody!

A bizarre game that I discovered through a meme music video shown by a friend, I dove headfirst into this rabbit hole of insanity the other night and instantly got hooked.

Basically, you're a train passenger with a troubled past in 1930's - 40's Czechoslovakia, you have a dream and are told you've got 3 days to be the last survivor left to survive the Termina Festival. The entire town is full of crackheads, mutants, freakjobs, and weirdos that can and will kill you. I would almost call this game a rogue like rogue lite, but, it's in a JRPG format.

Even on easy mode, I've been one shotted in this game. Not for the faint of heart.

So, for those of you that attended or can remember, Furality was a virtual furry con that took place in VRChat back towards the end of May. If you want a little more context and information on that, you can go ahead and check out a prior video: https://youtu.be/NZGoICH4psw. Entry required either having sufficient online presence (like twitter or other social media), or a donation of $5 to the Save a Fox Foundation, or SaveAFox Rescue. Their reasoning was the assumption that if you were willing to make a donation, you were probably interested in actually attending the convention, and not be there to grief, troll, or cause problems. Not a terrible idea, but it did cause some drama amongst people who grumbled about having to pay to get into an event that was being hosted on a -free- online game.

Their grumblings gave me an idea for a little skit, so I called upon some people and a particular fox in mind to throw this together as a sort of parody to the situation and the Save a Fox Foundation. I’m not denigrating their cause or the group, by the way, just used them as a foil for this video. You can go ahead and check them out on their official website; https://www.saveafox.org/. If memory serves, I think Furality raised something like $8,500 + dollars, which was a respectable amount considering the attendance over the course of those 3 days. That money was sent over to the Save A Fox Foundation.

Just a feel good video as I ease myself back into recording scenes and writing up skits. Hope you enjoy the video, fellas. Thanks to all my friends who decided to be a part of this video!

Alone Two Day..

I know, I know, it’s been a while since I uploaded anything. I just needed a little hiatus to take care of a few things IRL and get myself in a better place, mentally and physical. As I ease myself back into the usual swing of things, I have this video to upload to YouTube.

So, a while back, I started “interviewing” a couple of my friends to talk about topics related to VRChat, sort of exploring what impact it might have had on them and the social dynamic of the platform in its entirety. Maxwell Rodgers being one of the first ones I had interviewed, he provided a greater contextual background as to the workings of Second Life and how that impacted the furries he had come into contact with along the way. While obviously not the same, similar trends sort of varied over to the virtual world that is VRChat, and it was interesting to hear his personal experiences and what he observed in those he knew or experienced during his time there, compared to VRChat.

Being that our entire talk was over the span of about an hour, I split the video into two parts. This’d obviously be the first. I was planning on reaching out and talking to a few others to get a more varied perspective from a multitude of different people about their personal experiences, and as I continue to enjoy VRChat, I have noticed certain trends and behaviors that sort of follow in its user base.

As they pertain to the people we know and those we don’t, the topics we touched were of interest to me to at least talk about, as I feel they’re important enough to at least reflect on for those that are interested in or are already a part of, be it Second Life, VRChat, or any other virtual platform. Hope you enjoy~

Check-In at the hotel on day 1 at Eurofurence takes place about as well as you’d expect, with a dysfunctional crowd of furries being tended to by a just as dysfunctional cadre of hotel staff and personnel. Among them are a few prime normies, Nick Wylde clones, and the prolific twitch gamer Tyler1. A few remarks and comments allude to the typical tropes and events you’d expect at a typical furry convention, which honestly brought a smile to my face and plenty of keks and chuckles along the way.

A bunch of my friends joined the level about the time I began filming the interactions between people, from KoiFesh to RedClay, all the way down to Mearo, Maxwell Rodgers, and TechieFoxx.

What better place to host a funeral procession than at a Furry Convention, am I right? Especially if it’s an ongoing meme.

Let’s sure hope the hell not.

I got a peak inside of the casket, by the way. If you wanna know…it’s a dead loli with a very weird expression on its face.

With the announcement of Virtual Furence being a virtual convention as an alternative to a live-convention due to the whole Covid-19 BS going on right now, there’s been a lot of anticipation for its release. Honestly, I’ve been hanging around with everybody that’s shown up to partake and enjoy the level for what it has to offer. The novelty of hanging out in a furry-convention hotel lobby that’s been designed to appear in mock appearance to Eurofurence has not been lost on me, and it’s been interesting watching the various antics and stunts people pull on the daily. And this just happens to be one of those stunts.

So, this just kind of happened spontaneously while me and a group of friends were hanging out in the level. Someone pulled out the avatar, others wanted to join in, and I had a camera at the ready. All in all, while I wish there were more people involved and in the background, this…put a smile on my face.

Hope it does for you too.

Watch Part 1 Here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSeRiU0IpjQ&t=543s

As previously mentioned, Part 1 (condensed here over a span of about a minute and a half) was supposed to be the introductory to some commentary that I was going to make, but the reading ended up taking much longer than previously anticipated. I…admittedly had some fun with that one. xD Either this is a very elaborate trolling attempt, or the fan-troll has just a little too much time on his hands.

Either way, it was a very bizarre event to take place here in the furry fandom. TLDR: fan troll was a fan to a particular bunny writer by the name of Oi Its Joi who has a furaffinity and twitter presence, and expresses their displeasure at realizing that their fursona is actually a dude and not a girl as they had previously assumed. He -demands- they change their gender to fit their world view, and is willing to debate them as to why they should do so.

Oi Its Joi doesn’t take the person very seriously and is eventually blocked as the other gives up. They had posted the messages / furaffinity notes to Twitter to an account dedicated to weird, creepy, and bizarre FA messages / notes, and as the messages came to be seen in the public eye, many lulz were had. I caught wind of it in early April, but was too busy to make a video covering it till now…

And, as far as I know, that’s all she wrote. The saga ends and we are left wondering…who is this man, what is his grand purpose in life, and why did he commit so much time, energy, and determination to trying to change the mind of Oi Its Joi? I suppose the world will never know.

So this was a relatively recent development that sort of creeped in under the radar and largely overshadowed due to the worldwide pandemic going on right now. I had no doubt that Kero the Wolf would try coming back to his former prominence at someday, however, it was just a matter of time, opportunity, and the nerve on his part. He’s been fairly active on his Patreon, catering to about 30 patrons that have been supporting him. Brony Bug, aka ForNoGoodReason and a few other YouTubers had been going after his patrons, though, their efforts appear to have had only a marginal effect.

It’s a bit strange he’s choosing now of all times to allude to the fact that he’ll be making a come back, but hey, I’m sure he has his reasons. The investigation into his illicit activity’s, while promising, yielded no lasting effects other than a dark stain on his reputation on the internet at large. Most people have simply moved on but acknowledge what happened, and hold their own opinions and thoughts on the matter. Me personally, little has changed, other than what I found during my own investigation and my own conclusions, which I mentioned in my other videos. This is certainly a new development, however.

Either way, I’ll keep an eye out, if nothing else to find closure should ever there be any. A few of his prior associates such as Snake Thing have been investigated and have gone to jail, so some justice came of the entire debacle, at least. It’s something of a dark reminder of the darker side of the Furry Fandom, and that in our midst, these people do in fact exist.

Something completely random, spontaneous, and on the fly, this is just some random short we filmed last night. No point to it, just a random moment in VRChat. Apparently, the murderer from Scream just lets random rodents hang out / live in his apartment, and he’s room mates with the late Freddy Mercury. Wouldn’t recommend hanging out there for any extended period of time, though, if you value your life...or sanity. X3

Was a nice free form improv session to assess the abilities of a new actor.

As far as Holiday Specials go, there were two that came to mind, one being a free-form improv exercise, filmed at a local K-Mart. The level was kind of a hot, buggy, and laggy mess for some of the actors, but we managed to pull through to bring you a video encapsulating their improvisational skills and whatever felt right in the moment. Looking around the level, I checked the video games department and can safely say this particular K-Mart appears to be from late 2007 – 2009 with the décor and products available. So it’s a K-Mart that’s out of place, out of time sort of deal, all around Christmas time. I split this into a two parter as the second part takes place at the small food court / Little Caesars in store. Other than that, should you work in retail, well, hope this video doesn’t give you too many flash backs.

While the entire purpose of a free-form acting exercise is to acclimate new actors to the cast and for existing actors to explore themselves on set with whatever act strikes their fancy, this one was definitely more geared towards the Christmas spirit of last minute Christmas shopping, either for ones self or for others.

Thanks to everyone that decided to be a part of this and for your continued ongoing support with the series and all other film projects we undertake on VRChat. It’s been fun working with you all! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everybody!

A lot of the music featured in the video comes from whatever was playing on loop in the level background, basically whatever generic Christmas songs you’d expect to hear on the radio.

So this is the second free-form improv exercise session we filmed after the Courtroom scene which started it all. Following the same premise as the first, I pitch a simple scenario and it’s up to the actors to make it over the top and dramatic at varying intervals and within a relatively short span of time. Honestly, I think the series of events that led up to all of this came out pretty well, all things considered. I honestly wasn’t expecting a homicidal eco-terrorist Smokey the Bear to attack a couple of McDonalds employees while a horde of rats sweeps through the kitchen, but hey. That was half the fun of it. It stays pretty consistently active but peters out towards the end. As mentioned last time, this can almost be considered a series in its own right in so far as the events occur in the same Universe, but each one holds little relation to the other (besides recurrent characters.)

As with last time, it’s something fun to do on the side that allows new actors to get in their comfort zone and practice their abilities of assuming a variety of different acting roles. I guess this is the closest thing I could come up to for “training” beyond rehearsal sessions and the like.

Thanks to everyone that decided to be a part of this and for your continued ongoing support with the series and all other film projects we undertake on VRChat. It’s been fun working with you all!

So, recently, I started doing free – form improv exercises to practice acting ability and to give the cast-members a chance to practice their acting ability, core concepts, or have fun reacting to whatever situation and circumstances are presented before them. Kind of a low turn-out night, but overall, it was a fun case. A few twists and turns and chuckles to be had. In a loose sort of way, you can consider these a “series” in their own right only in so far as they all exist in the same universe chronologically, but sometimes with a floating timeline. The events of the previous ones can be considered to have occurred before the most recent, but only sometimes they become relevant based on what characters are present between before and after.

If you’re wondering why this is coming out now? Well, it’s something fun to do on the side and it also is a good way to allow new actors to practice their abilities of assuming a variety of roles outside of their conventional comfort zones. I guess this is the closest thing I could come up to for “training” beyond rehearsal sessions and the like.

Didn’t feel as spot-on with my improv with this video compared to my usual dialogue, but hey, figured I’d let you all know I was still alive and well and planning on coming back to YouTube sometime. Probably going to need more practice to get back into the usual swing of things after my extended absence. There’s been a lot going on and there are those days I get back home and just want to coast rather than do anything practical or productive. But, you never get anywhere if you let yourself have too many days like that, so here you go. A short rambling video detailing some of the highlights of what’s been going on lately and why I’ve been away for a minute.

Work, school, and film series – those are the three big time sinks I have to look forwards to as far as doing anything productive. The fourth category, socializing, is also a time sink but beyond spending time with people, doesn’t generate anything but potential drama as a result. So it’s the big three for me, and that doesn’t look like that’s going to be changing anytime soon.

Either way, some differences in this video compared to the others. I have an alternative to FaceRig now that my actual fursona is a viable option in VRChat. And after looking through my external hard drive, I found a slightly different genre of music to use instead of the usual chill lofi tracks you’ve probably become accustomed to. Wanted to find something that sort of matched the backdrop. Also, we have a guest star this video. Won't say who, but some of you might recognize him.

(For context, some footage was lost that should have appeared prior to the events of the episode.)
Given over to his presumably short and brutish existence of the gang life, Calon approached a bar patron while in a drunken haze, making subtly romantic advances. Surprised at receiving a favorable response, as his inebriation fades, he looks to Peeps and asks him to look the other way lest he be reprimanded or ostracized for looking to date a non-yeen. Peeps obliges for the nominal sum of five coins, and Calon looks on to enjoy a brief reprieve from the violent antics he’s usually pulled into. A steak dinner and wine shared by the dim light of Dagons Drop, his favorite bar within the Mangolin Market District. Some smooth and casual conversation shared between some of the bar patrons on his way out, the pair move on to the streets and venture off for a nights walk thereafter.

Altogether a mild episode considering what happened between last episode to this one, and what happens later.

A Forlorn Conclusion is a film series being uploaded to YouTube, broken up into episodes for your viewing pleasure. Filmed almost entirely on VRChat through the use of improvisational actors from all walks of life, this is an ongoing project following my novel and story ideas with bursts of creative input from the cast. This was really just a passion-project that I embarked upon months ago with the friends I made on VRChat as I took on being a movie-director as another one of my hobbies.

I’d just like to say thanks to everyone for being a part of this project and making all of this possible. I greatly appreciate your collective efforts and time spent in the making of this film series, and hope we can keep it going to the end, because there’s a lot more to come.

So, this level actually appeared about two months ago, towards the end of July. Pyrox and I found it one day and decided to storm it, for the meme. And, well, it was certainly memeworthy enough. A bit basic as far as level design and game mechanics, but hey, it was the thought that counts. As September 20th has already passed us by, and a few hard core memers and enthusiasts actually made the trek out to the Nevada Desert to try to storm Area 51, I processed this and decided to upload it.

Pyrox and I sometimes visit obscure or interesting levels and make commentary; there's at least two other videos I need to process and upload sometime. I kinda wish we brought more people to actually make this seem like an idyllic portrayal of what should have happened in real life. Maybe next time.

Among my favorite of the Ghost Survivor stories, Forgotten Soldier sees to the hypothetical mission undertaken by "Ghost," or J. Martinez as he attempts to escape the Nest facility far beneath Raccoon City with a sample of the G-Virus. Faced with a myriad of zombies and mutants in his path, his escape is no easy feat, especially with the entire facility entering self-destruct mode.

Among the Ghost Survivor stories, this was one of my favorites. A combination of the musical score with the fast-paced high-energy trek from point A to point B matched with the litany of challenges along the way made this a challenge initially and fun all at the same time. My early attempts were incredibly frustrating, but I got the hang of it after a few deaths in.

Also? The look of Ghosts uniform and gear after a run-in with William Birkin look badass. I might actually try to make a cosplay of this sometime for Katsucon or Otakon next year. Hope you enjoy the playthrough either way.

Upon the initial recording of this video, MFF had since made an official announcement and refunded Milo Yiannopoulos’s money, barring him from attending the convention. Their official statement was that his presence would lead to an “inability to provide a safe and welcoming experience for convention participants. The Board of Midwest Furry Fandom, consistent with our posted code of conduct (insert link), has rescinded Milo Yiannopoulos’s regiustration. In addition, he will be barred from registering for this or future Midwest Furfest events.”

While I had mixed feelings about Milo’s banning, given his inflammatory behavior as an individual and a recurrent pattern of instigating or provoking others, his presence would present a liability for the convention, so I’m not entirely surprised they responded how they did. However, the controversy lies in unilaterally banning someone who technically did nothing wrong. In spite of holding some deeply controversial beliefs and voicing them aloud, he’s done nothing to directly result in being banned from an entire event. At the end of the day, he’s just another edgy internet personality. You might find his political beliefs to be abhorrent or questionable, but it feels as though MFF caved into the crowds demands without much hesitation or recourse. And gee, what a surprise.

Midwest FurFest as a Convention showed much promise, surpassing Anthrocon in terms of popularity and attendance and being much more in line with the next generation of Furries in the here and now. However, it hasn’t been without its fair share of issues. Chlorinecon years ago was a surprising development and one of my first experiences at my second MFF. Numerous theories as to how and why a chlorine gas attack occurred ranged from an act of terrorism, a mobile meth lab, or a prank gone wrong. Years later, we still don’t have an answer as to the motives or the identity of the culprit, with occasional signs that the authorities are still investigating. A..

My successful playthrough of The Ghost Survivors: Runaway scenario.

Katherine Warren is the estranged daughter of Michael Warren, the mayor of Raccoon City. She caught the attention of Brian Irons following the zombie outbreak, and without any inhibitions to stop him, Brian Irons sought to make her his trophy. In this scenario, though, she manages to kill her captor and unexpectedly appears to be in a relationship with Ben Bertolucci, a freelance reporter who took a keen interest in Umbrella, Inc and their illegal experiments.

Uploading these in order, be sure to watch part 1 here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JL7Jkazu8hA&t=538s

I found it surprising that she'd be in a relationship with Ben of all people, but, I guess love is blind in that sense. I found this particular Ghost Survivor scenario to be a little boring due to the soundtrack lacking anything special or distinguishable to its melody or beat. I find it weird that some high class girl has the skills to operate a flamethrower, but hey, who knows. Maybe she got that special training thanks to her fathers money.

Please pardon the profanity - after playing the same scenario over and over again, I was getting a little irritated at the game killing me in BS ways. So that kinda carried through until I successfully beat it.

Feels like forever since I've had the chance to make a FaceRig video. Figured I'd give some kind of update after a longstanding hiatus, occupying my time with uploading episodes of A Forlorn Conclusion and other VRChat related content along the way.

Given that it's an update video, well, I'd say it's pretty self explanatory. Watch the video and let me know what you think. Let's hope I get the motivation and inspiration to make some FaceRig commentary videos in the future.

The hype and anticipation of Resident Evil 2 The Remake kind of passed me by, as I hadn't really picked up the game and started playing it until well into 2019. Either way, it's definitely a worthwhile gaming experience, and the Ghost Survivor Scenarios definitely added a ton of replay value to the overall game. Will be making a separate video about my thoughts on the game Resident Evil 2, but for now, how's about I just share the experience firsthand.

Robert Kendo is a family man who cares deeply for his daughter, though, unfortunately, she succumbed to the zombie infection that began plaguing Raccoon City not too long before. About to take his own life, he's contacted by an old friend who aims to save him. Only problem is, he's got a horde of zombies between him and the evac point. Only strength, determination, and the will to survive will carry him to the end. He has nothing left to lose.

I'll be releasing my first successful playthroughs for each Scenario. Please pardon my profanity; after playing the same Scenario several times and getting eaten alive by random zombies and monsters, it gets irritating and grating after a while. Usually not the best playthrough, but the one's I've beaten for the first time. The exception is No Way Out, as my internet connection failed during time of live-streaming.

A group of highschool kids purchase a pack of beer, sneak into the woods at the local park, and are murdered well into the night after attracting the attention of a mysterious death cult. After a police investigation takes place the next morning, the lead investigator, Detective Calon Ernest Caldwell, turns his attention towards the local high school, Brook Meadows High. He makes a chance visit and makes inquiries from various students and two teachers, before making his way back to the Police Department to contemplate his next course of action. His initial theories as to a motive and the identities of the perpetrators have no evidence to support them, which leaves him curious as to how to proceed.

While not directly related to A Forlorn Conclusion, the Night in the Woods mini-series features many of the same characters. Think of it as a sort of alternate dimension. Thanks to everyone who participated in the making of this mini-series.

Calon has a lucid dream about how things played out the day before, about events that didn’t quite turn out as he remembered them. And then, a nightmare. The next day, he goes out to do one of the many “bullshit missions” Killer Kaldwell assigns to him, aiming to tie up loose ends. Thankfully, it’s someone that, in Calons eyes, deserves it. However, he does so in a very public manner, eliciting a great deal of unwanted attention from the general public…

Distraught by what he’d witnessed, Calon does something incredibly brash and stupid in a moment of duress, but abstains from carrying through with his initial impulsive reaction to what had happened. The gang go on to enjoy a night of drinks and typical debauchery as things seem to go back to normal, in the presence of a smaller cast of regulars frequenting the bar that night.

Spoiler: Interestingly enough, Calon never really trusted / cared for Sergals, and would have probably reacted more readily had the family that got butchered been a human or yeen family. Instead, he stood back and let things play out as they did. The brutality got to him as he thought about it after the fact, though…

Calon brings three prospective new members back from his trip up north to the big man himself, Killer Kaldwell, who appraises them accordingly. After enjoying a moment at the bar, small talk and banter is exchanged between the group and the bar patrons, Calon asking what his next job happens to be as a part of his “initiation”. Killer ponders on this for a moment, then tasks Calon with doing a robbery. Having already passed through to the north to reach it past the Forlorn Ruins, Calon pitches Burnback Streets as a prime location, the district behind the bar. The group set out into the night to find a house and target to burgle. What happens, though, isn’t quite what Calon was expecting, and it’s more than enough to shock him back into reality and reflect on the sobering truth of what he’s gotten himself into…

Custard Cakewalk by ..

In Episode 13, Calon heads to a desolate part of town to break into an abandoned clothing store and equip himself appropriately with a better set of clothes, then heads north, to the northern most districts of Mangolin. He heeds Killer Kaldwells order to try and get members back to the Baker Bois, who had since joined up with a gang up north by the name of the Apple Bois. Gaining their name from stealing apples that people had taken to harvesting from the orchards that used to grow in and around the outskirts of Mangolin during the earliest days following the apocalypse, they’ve been something of a local menace to the area. Locals warn Calon to tread lightly. He pitches an offer to invite them back to the gang while getting a lay of the land.
