in 1975 ABC produced the Movie of the Week, "The Legend of Lizzie Borden" starring Elizabeth Montgomery from the popular series, "Bewitched" one big glaring error in the tv movie is where is Uncle John who famously spent the night in the guest room, the night before the crime? He's an interesting character who seems to get very little mention in any of the films made on this subject. Why is that?

Peter Sutcliffe aka the Yorkshire Ripper managed to evade being captured despite being questioned by police more than 9 times. Some accounts say even as many as 12 times. He was later caught by sheer accident when two police officers checked his car's license plates and discovered they were false. He was convicted and sent to Broadmore Insane Asylum and died in November 2020.

In October 1949 Famous actor Kirk Douglas became a possible suspect for missing part time actress, Jean Spangler. The two had worked on the film, "Young Man with a Horn" Jean Spangler told her sister-in-law she was going to speak with her ex-husband about child support and then on to work on a night shoot for a movie she was in. She never showed up to the studio. In fact the studio claimed she was not on a call sheet for work. Her purse was later found in a park with a note to someone named Kirk. Speculation being, Kirk Douglas with whom she was suspected having an affair with and became pregnant. Spangler was never heard from or seen again.

TRUE CRIME NEWS: EPISODE 4 "GONE GIRL PART 2" Our story continues and now focuses on the fact that Denise Huskins and Aaron Quinn were telling the truth about her abduction and now police have arrested former Harvard Law student, Matthew Muller in Lake Tahoe for a similar home invasion in Dublin, CA.
