For the final video of the Crappy Macbook series, I show how you can play games on old hardware and still have a fun experience. I demonstrate NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, and two PC games, all running on Linux Mint 20. The emulators I used are Retroarch and Wine. This series has been so much fun to make and hopefully the next video series will just as interesting and fun!

In this video, I continue from where I left off on the Macbook project. With a short story of how frustrating this project has been, and what it took to get up and running. I also show how old hardware like this can still be useful today, by running a few simple everyday computing tasks.Yay for Linux Mint 20! Also there will be a Part 4 so stay tuned!

To many people on the internet tell you to buy microphones for 400$ dollars, or audio interfaces for 200$ dollars. You do not need to have expensive gear or be a professional to sound good, especially when you are just getting started. I put this setup together as an example of what you can get on a low budget. At the time of this recording I spent 102$ Dollars on this setup.

After purchasing a power supply online and turning on the Macbook, I discover that I am going to need another part before I convert it into an awesome Linux machine. Stay tuned for Part 3!

In this video, I unbox and install the PCCOOLER GI-X4. I have purchased and installed one of these coolers before for a client with a similar PC build. As far as air coolers go, it is a great cheap and budget friendly option. If you are interested in purchasing or learning more about this cooler here is a link to the product on amazon. The Silly PC strikes back...Hopefully I will never have to work on it again. This thing has so many strange quirks, it's a miracle it still functions. Upgrading from Windows 10 32bit to 64bit, as it should have had from the beginning.

A friend of mine gave me his old 2006 white Macbook and once I get a power supply we will turn this into a smacking Linux system! Hopefully... Stay tuned for part 2.

A friend and subscriber, sent me this gift of used computer parts. Knowing my love for technology old and new, he offered them to me so they could be given a purpose, instead of rotting away in a box. I will add some of it to my old parts collection, the rest to be used for projects and videos in the future.
Thank you Kdawg532! FX6300 and 965 Black Edition for the WIN!

I cleaned a few Dell Optiplex Pcs. Formatted the Hard drives and Installed Linux Mint 20. Super Unprofessional. Helping a kid I know, who wanted to make a couple bucks and didn't know anything about computers. Dell Optiplex 330 and 380.

This Computer has come to me before looking for help. Sometimes it's a simple fix, and sometimes it is not. Just got a new phone and felt like sharing this silly machine with you all.
