Co-founder and 'bearded mystic' of #ExtinctionRebellion Julian 'Roger' Hallam had just concluded his sermon at this year's Green Gathering in Chepstow, wherein he discussed plans to shut down Heathrow Airport with drones and status-dropped some of the "super-important people" his professional-activist lifestyle has him interacting with. So the (state-owned) BBC are helping organise ‘la revolution’, are they?

As the discerning among you already know, XR has been relentlessly promoted in the UK’s state-owned and 'liberal' media. Senior politicians publicise meetings with XR and support the related school 'climate strikes'. Co-founder Gail Bradbrook admitted on Sky News that advisors to Theresa May had commended XR's blockade of London in April, on the grounds that "they need a social movement like ours to give them the social permission to do the necessary" [link below].

XR also enjoys the backing of our berobed betters in the Church of England; and if the now defunct #XRBusiness is anything to go by, we can conclude that a great many smarmy corporate executives are just as eager to line up and show support for the ‘rebellion’ (or might it be the $90 Trillion 'carbon-economy' they're interested in 'unlocking'?).

In short, you'd have to be hopelessly misinformed to see #XR as 'radical' or 'anti-establishment' in any meaningful sense.

They're useful idiots for international finance capital. Those pulling their strings are the ‘New Power’ elite - technocrats, able to leverage their digital assets (like social media) to tap into the energy (and naiveté) of the youth and harness it to ‘green’ their own image and generate the ‘social permission’ needed to unleash the #FourthIndustrialRevolution’ (5G, IoT) on the unsuspecting populace.
