Greetings friends !! As I continue to work on episode 1 of The Rock Pile (should be about 2 weeks or so), I thought I'd put up this short "heavy rock" tune in the meantime. About a week or so ago I had the absolute worst nightmare I've ever experienced. I woke from it shaking and more than a little freaked out to say the least.....and I'll admit I still find it hard to picture some of the terrifying imagary it contained. It did however make me reflect on some recent events that have taken place in my life and even question the nature of existence at times. There is a bit of dark imagery in the video as well as my usual tongue in cheek rock n roll humor, which I think / hope will help me to "get over it" lol. It's been awhile. Life can be a roller coaster lol.
I haven't been able to enter the YouTube universe for quite some time......not only do I miss making content, but I also miss checking out what you all have been doing as well. Thankfully it seems as though I will have the time and energy to come back very soon. I've decided to resurect THE ROCK PILE after much contemplation. Ned has been bugging me about a job, and I miss doing the show. Thank you all for your patience. I'll do my best to reply to comments and start visiting you groovy cats ASAP !! Hey folks !! Bringing you another tune from the last band I was in, Phantom Hog. This one is an all out hard rock assault, I hope y'all dig it ! Before I took over the singing duties for the band, we were fortunate to have the absolute best vocalist and frontman I have ever known, Tim Devries. We were known as Groovegasm (among other monikers) back then.....and he was the cat that came up with the brilliant theme for this song Gypsy Wind. I took his idea and put my spin on it, vocal-wise. Thanks for the inspiration Tim....Jamming with you was a dream come true amigo.
