Just as the Tuesday morning rush hour and school run got under way, the quiet residential streets of a north-east London suburb were overtaken by panic and screams.

In the space of less than half an hour in Hainault, a 14-year-old boy and four other people were attacked.

A few hours later, police confirmed Daniel Anjorin had died of his injuries.

Witnesses captured footage of a man prowling the streets brandishing a samurai-style sword, as residents were warned to lock their doors.

Police have described the incident as "truly horrific" and are still piecing together how and why this attack unfolded.

Composer Richard M Sherman, who wrote songs for Disney film classics has died aged 95 in Beverly Hills.

He is well known for his songs from The Jungle Book, Christopher Robin, Snoopy Come Home, The Aristocats, Charlotte's Web, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, The Sword in the Stone, Little Nemo, Mary Poppins, Mary Poppins Returns, Once Upon a Studio, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and especially Saving Mr Banks in which Jason Schwartzman plays Richard Sherman himself as well as B.J Novak as his brother Robert Sherman.

He is also famous for writing the song called "It's a Small World (After All)" in which they've performed their song at Disney theme parks like Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disneyland, Hong Kong Disneyland, & Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Bay Lake.

R.I.P Richard M Sherman, you will never be forgotten. You can go and reunite with your brother in heaven. (1928 - 2024)
