Horizon Zero Dawn is a 2017 action role-playing game developed by Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The plot follows Aloy, a young hunter in a world overrun by machines, who sets out to uncover her past.

STORY SO FAR:
Starts with an intant under the care of Nora tribe Outcast Rost, she becomes playable as a small child who desperately wants to be part of the community but is constantly shunned, ignored and avoided. The world is now overrun by mechanical dinosaurs and understanding how this happened is a core element of the story, we are introduced to the reaction system after a young tribe boy throws a rock at Aloy allowing us to read with our heart, head or fist. Aloy accidentally falls into an ancient bunker and stumbles across a focus. This small device allows Aloy to interact with ancient technology as well an enchancing her perception of the world around her. Rost attempts to take device from her but luckily for the story while he is unable.

Aloy begins to wonder who her mother is and why she is an outcast as Rost is a surrogate father and an outcast himself he's unable to answer those questions but he does know where that she can answers. Fast forward several years Aloy is now a young woman a highly skilled tactical mastermind with bow and stuff in hand, her devotion to finding answers about who her mother is and why she is an outcast has led her to the proving.
