Geoengineering, along with weather modification and geoengineering experiments, have been conducted for years.
Governments and large corporations try to cover-up the damage, and then more poisons are introduced in efforts to reverse the damages.
Some of the issues are as followed, but not limited to, pests and pesticides ruining crops and neighboring water streams; the projects being undertaken to manipulate natural weather patterns; the heavy metals being deposited in freshwater sources by chemtrails; the destruction of our ecosystems; the over-extraction of natural resources; and excessive human consumption habits.
Carbon is actually the least of our concerns and is actually greening our deserts [ https://phys.org/news/2013-07-greening-co2.html ]. Carbon taxes only serve to enrich the same people already destroying our planet.
To save our planet we must address the real issues.
The only way to reverse the damage is by avoiding the introduction of more synthetic manmade elements. This is especially true, as most are produced to counteract other compositions being pumped into our atmosphere, soil, and water.

I don't believe in man-made climate change, however, I do believe that our planet has sustained significant ecological damage due to various attempts to geoengineer our planet. Of course, the pilfering of our planet's resources and waste have a great deal to do with it also.
Shifting weather patterns, increase in storm severity, and rapid temperature changes are definitely the result of weather manipulation/weather warfare by various methods.
As citizens, the only way we can help "save the planet" is to do our best to live natural lives and cutback on wasteful unnecessary consumption. I'd start by learning how to grow your own vegetable garden, as well as to minimize how many chemical products you use in your home.
Your health and the planet will thank you for it.
