"An Antarctic Mystery" by Jules Verne

sststr

This book is a sequel to Poe's "Narrative of A. Gordon Pym of Nantucket". If you are not familiar with that work, you would do well to first listen to my playlist of that work before pursuing this one.

This is a translation by Cashel Hoey, done in 1899. Which explains why some of the language, especially the dialog, is a bit archaic.

Unlike Poe, Verne includes extensive dialog. I'm not very good at doing different voices, but I tried to vary it at least a little bit so the listener can tell when the speaker changes.
